I got my package from Imagine! Woop woop! Thankyou so much, I LOVE everything.

I got a folder to organise my knitting patterns, 2 bibs for the bub, a knitting needle roll to store me messy needles a polar bear postcard and some ferrero rocher (sp?)

Group shot

GORgeous book, can't wait to fill it! 100 spaces for my patterns, all categorised!

2 of the sweetest bibs you have ever seen, one has dogs on both sides, one is furry/towelling reversed with the dog fabric. Imagine thought they looked small but I reckon they'll be perfect!

Knitting needle holder made of 3 kinds of material, all gorgeous and pink! YAY!

Close up of the material on the knitting needle holder.

I am SO SO happy and even hubby said aww, and for him thats VERY GOOD!

4  Re: Fairy tales, Folklore & Fairies gallery of gorgeousness! in The Swap Gallery by antiruth on: May 01, 2008 03:05:11 AM
OK well Pogo's item's that I sent are 'missing presumed in the ocean' and she has asked me to post them so she can see what she may one day receive. (PO willing)

I have pics of all but two items that I only finished just before I sent.
Items missing are a box with the 'spirit of the forest' from her favourite film on it
and a small knitted shoulder bag with a fairy kind of 'knitted in' (can't think of the word I want) sort of looks embossed.
- sorry they aren't very good piccies.

Set of cards

Butterfly wing necklace with brown/yellow seed beads - lol-pogo sent me one too (but hers was better)

Photo album, pencil drawing not showing up to well!

Pouch with notebook to put pencils and things in (notebook is inside, hiding)

Close up of cross stitching on pouch

Now the surprise is ruined (she whined at me, I had to do it!) I sure hope they turn up!  Everyone send some fairy magics to help them get unlost please!

I received my package, all the way from the USA - Hooray! Thanks Megan

A box containing...

A green goblin sticker and some fairy plasters

A pack of notelets and a handmade card

A cute rabbit with a copy of 'the velveteen rabbit'  (sorry, he's modelling a bootee I made for my baby! lol

And a quilt!

One of the panels from the quilt
Sorry I had pics of the other panels but hubby turned the comp off when they were downloading and I'll do them again later, after dinner!

I can't believe how much work went into these items! You are a true craft goddess Megan!

2 more piccytures... ooh scary!

You may or may not know but MeganLorraine, Pogo and I were in a group of three for this swap.  Megan sent to me I sent to Pogo and Pogo sent to Megan.  Clear as mud?

Anyways me and Pogo got chatting a bit and she asked if she could send me something, I thought how sweet and cried (blame it on the preggo hormones!)

Well today this huge box arrived and I assumed it was from Megan but when I opened it there was a package of grape flavour treats on the top and I thought - how strange, how did Megan know I love grape flavour and can't get it here? Has she been eavesdropping on mine and Pogo's conversation?
Then it dawned on me that the huge box was actually from POGO!

I'm posting it here in the hope she can get double feedback because of her awesome kindness! In the absense of that lots of praise from all you guys because she deserves it !!!

First a pic of all the stuff.  Lots of treats that I can't get here.  Grape flavour jelly/jam, real maple syrup, jellybeans with grape flavour in there (I'm eating them now!), some Kool aid, and Kool aid flavour dessert and some squishy grape fruit things. Also some fairy stickers and 2 pressies!

First pressie, a BEE-OO-TI-FUL fairy necklace

2nd pressie, my very own fairy door! Fabulous paint job!

What a sweetie she is and now I must send her extras! including of course the much discussed Kinder Surprise Eggs!!

7  Faceless Lucy (raggy dolls) and a floofy cushion in Knitting: Completed Projects by antiruth on: March 27, 2008 06:53:39 PM
Here is my Lucy from the raggy dolls. I got the Patons booklet for my birthday and knitted her for my baby, I have the 20 week scan this afternoon and if it's a boy then I will have to start Sad Sac!

I didn't make her face yet, I shoulda done it before i sewed her up then I could have used safety eyes, the pattern says to use felt. I'm umming and ahhing whether to unstitch and add the eyes, I just hate sewing A LOT.

I also didn't use the right colours, just used what I had.

And here is a floofy cushion that started life as a scarf, I moved from UK to Australia and simply had NO NEED of a scarf that warm and snuggly, so ripped out half of it, sewed up the sides and put a small very cheap Ikea cushion in it, and it now sits on my bed to snuggle when hubby leaves for work at 5am.

8  For my baby in Knitting: Completed Projects by antiruth on: February 07, 2008 11:54:33 PM
I made this for my baby.  It's not born yet, in fact, it's not due for another 6 months!
I didn't put any buttons on yet.  I have some very cute daisy or heart shaped ones if bub is a girl.
Don't know if I will be able to put it on a boy?

It's the first 'complicated' thing I have knitted apart from some small toys, I'm quite proud!
