1  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Screen Printing: Completed Projects / Skater print on: October 31, 2010 01:05:48 PM
Screen-printed onto some kind of thick poster board. It is an edited picture of my little brother that I took three or four years ago and I decided to print it. This is the first screen-print that I've done in almost a year, I'm pretty happy with it  Grin

I absolutely love those! They're beautiful.

Thanks you guys for all the positive feedback!

That is so nice! Very well done. May I suggest, however, if you're going to use these photos for your portfolio, not using the first one. The chest area looks bulky and strange. Weird lighting I guess. But the rest of the photos show how nicely fitted it is Smiley

yeah, I see what you mean... We have more photos of the dress, so I'll find one a little less awkward.  Embarrassed
4  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / A musical dress on: September 14, 2009 08:22:47 PM
I've been working like crazy to get some things done for my portfolio and this is a little something I came up with. Although it isn't anything too special, I love this dress. I didn't use a pattern, just a whole heck of a lot of trial and error.

(The pictures were taken by my friend, Erin, who truly has a gift for the camera.)

I'd love to hear what you think!  Grin
5  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Selling Crafts on Etsy.com / Re: The (new) Etsy critique thread! on: November 16, 2008 05:20:02 PM
I've had my site up since September now and I haven't had any orders. I only have two shirt designs right now, but I can't afford to put anymore up until I start selling.
Also, I don't have very many views on my shirts. What can I do to attract people to it, and what am I doing wrong? Huh

6  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Crafty Business Discussion / Re: Warning? Us Trendy? on: November 12, 2008 03:22:49 PM
I just got this message and I was pretty suspicious right away. I only have two shirts up, and I have at most 50 views on them. I checked out the site and didn't understand what was going on, so I knew it'd be a smart idea to search for it here on craftster first. I'm so glad you posted this.

I am a little disappointed, though. I felt pretty special for a second, haha.

Those spider earrings are super cute!
9  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Little Zombie Bear (ZB for short) on: November 10, 2008 05:59:17 PM
This is my first ever attempt at amigurumi, or any crochet item that isn't a big long rectangle of single crochet stitches. He's very imperfect, but after several failed attempts I think he looks so cute. I used ournew's tutorial for Kerochan here https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=169562.0. I made some pretty obvious changes.

He's for a friend of mine who is away at basic training for the reserves. Everyone here misses her a lot, and we won't get to see her until Christmas. Of coarse, I can't wait until Christmas to give him to her, so after I take a few more pictures of him with a few of her friends I'm shipping him and the pictures off to her so she can enjoy him now (and to know everyone back home loves her).  We named him ZB, mostly because we have little imagination.  Wink

Enough chit-chat! On with the pictures!

(he's a bit of a gamer)
