Thanks, Etheren!  I've never been to Edmonton, so I wasn't sure if that was anywhere near the campus!

Super cute!  Did you cut the rainbow out of other fabric?

Also, I LOVE that you put it on your cat.

There is a thread here: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=35704.0 that I started about the Lilac Fest last year.  Although I made money, I probably wouldn't do it again.  I didn't make much money, and I had to endure a lot of "I could make that MYSELF" comments from people who don't understand how much work goes into crafting!

I am starting a Masters degree at the U of A next September, and I don't know ANYONE in Edmonton.

Are there any crafting groups on campus?  Or ones that meet close to the campus?  I need to make friends!

I'd be in, too, for a hip craft fair.  Is this still happening?

Those are cool!  Where did you get the circuit boards?  And how did you cut them?
7  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Discussion and Questions / Re: tank top embroidery? on: May 12, 2006 04:45:16 PM
Plumpie: Unfortunately, I tried that already.  The problem is that the fabric is ribbed and kind of dark - the SS patterns have worked perfectly on other thinhgs, they're great!

That's gorgeous!  It looks store-bought!

Where did you get the grommeting tool?  And what magazine was this in?  It rocks!

Well, I just tried ironing on a Jenny Hart pattern to my Old Navy ribbed tanks, and it didn't work AT ALL.  The pattern was super blurry and faded no matter how long I ironed it for.  AGG.

Did it work for you, catpants?

Adorable!  I have 7 chinchillas, and one is preggo!  Yours looks skinny.

And they're so soft because they have more than one hair per follicle.  But who could wear THAT as a coat??
