That is cool. I love the use of the collar. And it makes me want to make a halter top using the same idea.

Hey, all. In case you hadn't heard, the Scrap Exchange moved (after the roof of their old building collapsed  Shocked). They are now at 923 Franklin Street, Durham, NC 27701. It's behind Goldenbelt... with a parking lot!

It took me FOREVER to get my order placed, but I finally did. And got the confirmation. Grin

Hey all! It's free swatch day at spoonflower.com! I ordered a Dalek swatch.

I heard their site crashed, so you may have to wait a bit.

Nice, AlmostDawn. I really like the colors.

On a whiny note - went to get some fabric for some orders today, and the woman in the shop was so rude and unhelpful - until she spotted my bag that I'd made, and realised I'm that person that spends loads of money in their shop, and then she was falling over herself to be helpful - nice, eh?

I hate it when salespeople do that. They should be polite and helpful to everyone. And don't they realize that the person who comes in and spends $5 could one day be the person who comes in to spend $500?

Oh, and I love that scarf, Always. It's gorgeous!

Yay lozzieozzie! I've been wanting to do the same thing, but I need a space set up first. I should have that mostly done in a couple of weeks.

I'd suggest making a business plan (which I still need to do). It can really help you figure out the steps you need to follow.

I think next year I'll have two lists. One a list of things I think I want to do. The other a list of what I actually do.

Yes! Although a lot of stuff on my list is stuff I have to do-- but I keep getting sidetracked.

Hey Alisha-- two things for migraines.

If I have fresh ginger handy I scoop some out and eat it when a migraine starts coming on. It stops the migraine for me and has even shortened the duration of full blown migraines.

Also, I read that eating ice cream at the onset of a migraine can stop it in its tracks. And if it doesn't work... at least you had ice cream. Grin

As far as the knitting goes-- I haven't touched it in about a week. I may only complete one scarf instead of the two I was hoping to do.

I love those, SilverMoon! I haven't seen any of the new Dr Who either. But I'm adding gloves with eyes on them to my list-- which probably has about 500 things on it by now.
