Oh! I hope granny gets to feeling better very, very soon...

The "love your peaches" thing is from the Steve Miller song "the Joker"... the full line is "really love your peaches, wanna shake your tree." Peaches are sweet and round and juicy and so are we! So that's where it's from...

Thank y'all for the compliments... the journal is just a paper bag album with various papers and goodies added...

<3 love and best wishes for y'all.

www.LoveYourPeaches.com  is an AWESOME plus & supersize clothing site.  Hert stuff it incredible, she uses great fabrics, fun styles... check it out girls!

Wink   Thank you.  Yes If I am going to put in the work I want it to last & look good.  So ... do oyu think I should use like all the same shades like just one green, one blue & onew gold  oor mix the sheades & use colors that are close, like two greens just a shade or two off??
... oh so many things to ponder.   lol      Which is funny cause i told my Gram I didn;t want to try cross stich kits because I'd want to choose my own colors. LOL

Thank you ...  exactly what i was looking for. You know I was on the site & so so concentrated lookin at the actual photos that i didn;t even see the butterflys in the border there.  LOL  I have a long sleve black button down that i think would be really pretty with a few butterflys on it.

Hello I have this pattern:  http://www.colonialpatterns.com/images/HIT105/3937.gif
Aunt Martha  "Handome Peacock"  # 3937    He is BIG  abt 16 x 20 inches. It will take me a long time... I'm sure. I'll do it till i get bored, then come vack to it.
I'm going to stich on a flour sack (I think) towel to frame.

I'm looking for color suggestions. I'll be using DMC brand.
I've not worked with metallic thread yet ... I'm want to try some small stuff with that & see how that goes first. Iw as thinking on some of the feathers like maybe a few in the upper tier, doing 1 strand of metallic & 1 strand or reg. thread. Any one tired this?

Also anyother suggestion, a flour scak towel ok to be framed?

Thanks for any tips or imput.
