I've never been kissed

And I hope I will not need to wait until I am 30 to recieve my first kiss...

I'm Pansexual

It's not something I consider to be a "big deal" but I haven't told anyone because I know that a lot of people in my area are fairly closed-minded about this sort of thing (and once I tell one person the whole town will hear about it sooner or later!).

Whenever I go through a major emotional upheaval, I change all of my passwords. Call it a fresh start

I'm not as creative as everyone thinks I am

I weigh 135 lbs, yet....I still feel like the "fat friend"

I hate babies

I like to walk around in the dark pretending to be a vampire

(not in a weird Twilight way though!)

Obviously this only works if you're wearing a long black coat. But its still quite entertaining.

Lingerie is sexier than a naked person

I love St. Patrick's Day... ....but I'm not even Irish

I am unhappy

Hey All!

Here is the page jayla sent to me, and it is beautiful!

The Maiden Goddess entered,
Using her hands to part the dreams, to clear her  way
And the shining of her garments brightened the holy home
And the god saw her,
Blinking his eyes half-open, letting them close
Nodded, woke almost
Over and over tired,
Failed over and over
And roused himself
And leaned supported on one elbow
Recognized her and asked why she had come there

(Because I was a replacement partner, I only have the first section....however perhaps we will learn the rest of the story in round 2....it's like a cliffhanger Smiley )

6  Mara Jade Skywalker in Halloween Costumes by Dr.RubyDoomsday on: November 03, 2009 02:19:22 PM
Hopefully I can get some detailed shots soon of all the parts of the costume, however lets start with the over all costume. It took about 3 days to make from start to finish.

The jumpsuit was very easy to make. I used fancy slinky dress material that I got from the $1 a yard bin. I used less than 2 yards and thread I had.

The "belt" are actually 2 purse straps I put together to get Mara's double belt strap. That was $3

The boots are Docs and the shin guards were my father's knee pads from umping softball

The most expensive part of the costume was the wig, but since I will probably be Dawn from Joseph Michael Linsner comics or Maude Lebowski, I figure I will use it again.

It is Mace Windu's lightsaber, but I did not have time to make a Mara one (silly law school applications).

Technically, Mara does not have a Jedi robe that she wears in the comics, however, I decided that every Jedi deserves a robe, even if they did use to be part of the Emperor's Hand.

I just got the second part of moofall's pakage! Here are the picks:

The whole package!!

Now each item individually!

Rent T-shirt, this stencil is perfect!

This is a T-shirt with a quote from Bare: A Pop Opera. This is my favourite part of the package because there is no 'official' merch for Bare. Now I have my very own shirt!

I am not sure if you can see it, but it says "daring you to fall...Fairest of them All" in this beautiful silver. I love it!!

This is a really cool shadow box of a theatre...

Complete with Camelot action figures!!!

A really cool scarab key chain (mad props to moonfall who endured Aida for me!)

moonfall also sent me scapbook pages, great stickers and these really cool music notes.

And now for some bonus images.....

These are all my theatre tickets from New York and London:

My first B'way show, Candide, in 1997

And the pride of my collection:

Ticket to the opening night of Hair from Shakespeare in the Park. FYI Alan Rickman sat like three rows behind me and I danced on the stage with the cast in the rain. It was a good night.

Hey all! So here is the absolutely amazing package from the absolutely amazing ThatsWhatSheSaid....

First, the whole Shebang...lets just marvel in awe, shall we?

I put up this American Beauty switchplate the second I recieved it and had to take it down for photos. I had put it up in my dressing room and that was far too messy to take a photo of:

Here are the fabulous rose petal stitch markers! For anyone who never saw American Beauty, the rose is a major theme in the film.

Some flower hair pins...I <3 hair pins!

Rose soaps!!! So cool! They look so pretty in my bathroom, I think I may have to take a picture when I get home so everyone can see!

Here is a close up!

She also sent three of these incredible hand towels. They are knitted with a rose on them, I tried so hard to get a picture, but nothing was showing the details quite right, so these are the best I have (Dana, if you have better ones, or a drawing of the pattern, please post)

And an attempt at a detailed shot of the rose bud:

This is my favourite, hands down! I used to have a movie theatre lobby display from Moulin Rouge in my apartment, but it was just too big so I sent it to my parents home. That left literally a day before this amazing package came. I consider it a sign:

Its incredible! It is hand painted, and so subtle and it really suits my space!

There is also another item, but the picture wasn't uploaded properly. I will post it as soon as I can!

Thank you Dana!!!! I love everything!!!

Okay, sorry I have been so slow at uploading! So here is my adorable package from Annekuh!

First a picture of the whole package (the black and silver thing is not part of the package, but it helped to show off the bag)

Some quotes on Blue Paint (I could not get a good picture of these without the glare)

House Stickers!!!!

An embroidered felt purse of Remus Lupin  Grin

The Purse in ACTION! (Oh yeah, that was in fact all the cash in my wallet that day. Yeah for being underpaid!)

And a detail of Annekuh's really nice embroidery

A Glitter shoulder bag that I love but also could not seem to get a good picture of (Annekuh, if you have one please post it) I think the whole package photo shows it better

Thanks Annekuh!!! You are awesome!

I received my package from the AMAZING audio-astrophysics! (pardon the questionable picture quality, my mother took my camera so these are from the phone)

The Whole Shebang:

This is a fabulous shirt! I love the logo and I love the font! I asked audio specifically for work-out gear to motivate me enough to get my ass to gym. This should help!

Shorts (which are soooo comfy!!)

Closer shot of the stencil

Then there were these awesome pants! The embroidery is right up near the waist band, very classy.

Okay, so me and audio agreed to do a wist inspired small project as an extra (this was before our larges imploded, FYI) and I was freaking out when I saw this....(the necklace, not the picture)

it is a crocheted slit-throat choker! I love it! I wish I could wear it to work! Although I may wear it out with coffee on Thursday just to see the reactions...hehehe.

And because audio might be the most incredible swap partner ever! She tossed in two added bonuses!

Harry Potter envelopes made from an old calender:

And a hidden compartment book (okay, I suck at description...I don't write novels for a reason)

(its lined in crushed velvet!!!)

Audio, you are the cheese to my macaroni when it comes to swaps, I only hope mine is half as awesome as yours!

Thanks Sevs for organizing and being so on top of things!!

Much love to all,
The Good Dr. Doomsday
