The sandwich wrap is lined with nylon. it is easy to wipe clean. You just put the sandwich in the middle, fold in the sides, and loop it closed. Easy peasy!

I am also in loove with my package! THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!
here is everything....it was all wrapped in white, but I was so excited to tear into it that I ripped it all open in the van!!!  Cheesy

look at the cool stitching and PINK lining!

She made a tee with my DD's name! She loves it!

stickers, I'm a scrapbooker so these will be put to good use

and my favorite stones....

This swap was super fun!

4  Re: Clean-Along Its time for a major cleanup and redo- Post Your Own Pics in Interior Decorating: Completed Projects by sweetiepickles on: June 20, 2008 04:17:29 PM
Oh I am SOOO in! I will try to post pics after the weekend (even though the fact that I let my room get this messy IS quite embarrassing)!!! I've been VERY slowly organizing my craft space/Living room, but it is sooo hard. We live in an old, poorly designed farmhouse with VERY little closet space! I might need some help and support, but I would love to clean right along with you all! Imagine a long skinny hallway of a room (currently lined with Rubbermaids and piles of clutter)---now try to fit an excess of crafting supplies, computer desk, couch, tv, etc. in there.....YIKES!

My to do list is too long...I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. As I reward, if I get this messy room together, I just might get it together and paint over these icky sponge-painted walls!  Wink
OK....here we go! This is a VERY big step for me...I can't believe I am showing this....
starting with the craft cabinet and rotating clockwise...

Ok, now I am overwhelmed already and ready to give up.... Embarrassed

WE got our packaage in the mail but we spent the night out of state yesterday so.......without further ado...

I really thought the way she did this card was neat! I'm going to have to try some!

The box was pretty wet from the rain, but everything was well packaged and was ok. Look how big!

My son rec'd a baggie full of little goodies-eye poatch, treasure map, candy, play-doh, pencil case...He LOVED the pillow and we all had soooo much fun with the googly eyes!!! Even grandpa got in on the fun with these!

Here he is with more of his splendor...

He also was happy to get this little train...

He wanted me to specifically thank you for this...He LOVES his personalized lego star wars tee and shorts--I don't think he's ever had personalized clothes before, so he loved it!

My daughter also got a little bag of goodies like these...

and the cutest little tutu (it even matched the dress she had on!)

I just bought her Belle and Aurora crowns...tink almost makes a complete set!  How'd you know?

She loved this REdondo skirt set so much that she immediately put it on last night, and then insisted on wearing it today! We got alot of great compliments at Joanns, too! Everyone loves it! Can't beat the redondo for maximum twirlage!

While I will not apologize for the frumpy old house, I will just let you know all that junk on the floor was from the wrappers-they were so excited and threw the wrappers everywhere-Just like christmas!  Cheesy

You WILL be seeing these again here on craftster...

Those are the cute candy containers-I plan on reusing those! They thought the "corn" candy was hilarious(pineapple)

Thanks KatMiller for everything! This was a great package and well worth the anticipation! We are having so much fun already!!!

Here is most of what I sent to sarahswingset...some I didn't have pics of  Embarrassed

Lobster shorty socks

Red blood cell keychain

a fitted Black tshirt with brainbow image + "somewhere over the brainbow..."

A tree picture inspired by her tatoo and a cover of one of her zines

The latin names of all the oak trees are in the background

A hand carved manatee stamp...I don't have pics of this one, but I did have the practice image...

And I made a ton of magnets. One had all the stages of mitosis and then said "Mitosis Rocks", One had a lime geen nerve cell on a black background. It said, "I've got nerve" (and then in real small letters "cells") A ton of other nerve cell shots, and a caffine molecule magnet.
And a note on a card.
I think that was it....

That's OK, I hope she is OK, and I got a ton of really great stuff anyway!

YAY!!! I got my package in today from serenityfey!!! I am sooo glad because I (heart) EVERYTHING!!! First a pic of the whole shebang...

She made these tees with the coolest Serenity-looking writing! The black/glitteery gold combe are PERFECT! This tee is modeled by my misbehavin hubby (I think he's gonna try to claim this one)

Then my other tee... a GREAT River-inspired one!!! I'll probably wear this one this weekend!!! I can't wait to see the strange looks from all the non-fans!!!  Wink My DD is the lucky model in this one (excuse the fact that she could swim in it-she's only 5 and small for her age  Grin I might just make her one to match!!! She LOOOVES it (even though she's never seen the movie and really has no clue what it means, she thinks its silly)

A super-groovy Jayne-hat bracelet!!!

And an Inaraesque bookmark--How'd she know I needed one!?! Finally no more toilet paper sheets marking my page!

Thanks Serenityfey!!!  Kiss I love it all-no more first swap jitters! Its great!

9  Kid-drawn Scrappy Owl in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by sweetiepickles on: March 11, 2008 11:10:11 AM
I made this owl from a drawing my daughter did. She LOVES him and named him Owly  Cheesy She even asked him if he was a boy owl or a girl (boy "he said")

I cut out her drawing and used it as a pattern on scraps. The appendages are all polar fleece left over from a recon shirt--pull up and the blue fuzz was an assorted scrap I had laying around.

10  HELP with diabetic insulated bag in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions by sweetiepickles on: March 11, 2008 06:24:04 AM
My grandmother is diabetic and carries all her shots and supplies with her in this boring bag...

I want to schnazzy it up a bit for her, and I was thinking of covering it with fabric. How can I go about sewing on fabric to cover it without affecting the insulation? Has anyone tried anything like this before? Or would I be better reconstructing one completely?
