21  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Crochet Bride's Maids Bouquets? on: June 24, 2008 09:41:25 PM
I have offered to crochet bride's maids bouquets for a friend's wedding.  I have crocheted flowers before, and do have a few different patterns.  I was hoping to get some more hint/tips/suggestions/patterns whatnot.  Any flower/bouquet patterns you might think are appropriate.  Also, any ideas about specific types of yarns?  I'm completely fishing for information.  Fortunately, there are only 2 bride's maids, and her wedding isn't until December, so I've got time before I have to start hooking in earnest.   Wink

Thank you!

These are all really adorable.  If I may request, though, I'd love to see the necklace pieces in their entirety - just to see what the rope/chain looks like.  But they're really, really, adorable.  I too love the earrings!

I love this.  I have a fine shape, but just feel sooooo uncomfortable in bathing suits, so I NEVER go to any pool things with friends.  Just a mental block I can't get over. . . but with a bathing suit like this!!!

You should consider some sort of manufacturing, cuase I DOUBT I'm the only who's freaky about suits. . . .

Also, I say biggie, too. . . bearie bearie bearie, can't you see? sometimes your words just hypnotize me.  And I just love your bearie ways. . .

i love it when you call me big bearie!

as it turns out, I'm getting out of work at a reasonable hour.  so if i rush, i can make it.  but, it looks like no one else is coming, so I guess I'm still out.

Is Wednesday just a really bad day for people?

ok. . . not sure if anyone really checks this anymore, or if anyone else was actually planning on going tonight.

However, it appears that I am going to be held up at work indefinitely, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it or not.

I needle felted this naughty little guy for my friend in D.C.  He got in a little trouble in our home town, so he fled to the nation's capital.  I'm sure his little indiscretions will go unnoticed there!

Thanks for looking!  And comments always appreciated.  Thinking about making a slightly less rotten apple for my 3rd grade teaching mom.
