I LOVE it.  thanks jl409
we do have a sexy little shop downtown that might have some naughty candies that i could put with some homemade stuff.
and that meat candy recipe is OUTRAGEOUS.  it sounds intriguing and a little bit nauseating, and i think its absolutely PERFECT.  Tongue
I also noticed Pinkie_poh's candy sushi- https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=308136.0   i was thinking instead of rice cereal treats i might try some almond joy attempt. http://www.recipelink.com/cookbooks/2002/0452269954_3.html
hmmm  lots to think about.
good thing i am off work for the summer.  i think im gonna need some time.

5  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / HELP 6th anniversary (CANDY GIFT) ideas needed on: June 08, 2009 04:47:52 PM
My husband and I are celebrating our 6th wedding anniversary on the 21st of June.
We have done a very good job of following the traditional gift ideas for each of the anniversaries thus far.
(don't ask about the leather year- 'cause im not tellin Wink )

for year six i have a choice of candy or iron.  my budget is about $100
I was thinking of getting him a nice cast iron skillet or dutch oven-  but we do have one already that we dont use all that much.
Candy is a great choice for him.  He is a candy bandit.
he likes nostalgic candies.  penuche fudge.  dark chocolate.
i was thinking  of a cotton candy machine-  but i couln't find one under $100 with decent reviews.
and gourmet candies i could order seem very spendy for something i should be making myself.

any cute ideas out there?  something thats not too too difficult or time consuming, but has a wow factor.
and maybe even a naughty factor!
i'll peruse the boards here and see what strikes me as well.  but i really wanted to get the best crafty brains i know of, on the job. you guys are SO SMART!

other fun facts about my husband
hes 37.  hes from new england, but we currently live in Utah. (he misses the ocean and all other things new england. a recipe using FLUFF would be a plus! Smiley)
he's burly. hes a beatles fan.
we have a 3 year old son.
he is a very carnivorous and creative cook himself, and likes to introduce meat into sweets.  he once made a bacon cake, and clam cookies.

anyway-  thanks for reading-  and thinking about this quandary.
i look forward to your ideas.

i really really Really REALLY like these!  REALLY!!
thanks for sharing them.
MAN, i really like them.
i had such body issues growing up-  and then i was in college and i took a figure sculpting class-
one day when i came to class there was a strange woman milling about.  she was a BIG GIRL.  it would never have occurred to me that she was our model for the day-  but when she took her place on the stand and peeled off her dress over her head i was dumbfounded.  she was a goddess.
and i was proud of my roundy curvy body for the first time in my life.
the next day i went and signed up to be a nude model for the art dept.  and it changed my life.
so liberating-  and so gratifying to look at the beautiful creations that were inspired by MY body.
looking at your photos, and hearing the reasons you made them-  wow.  it makes me want to be a model again.
i need that shot in the arm again.
you are very beautiful-  and i hope you feel beautiful and liberated.

Hello Crafters of Northern Utah.
there is a small group of friends who have been meeting at "grounds for coffee" (30th and Harrison), on tuesday nights around 7:00 for crafting.
Just thought i'd throw that out there.
there are some weeks that everyone is busy or we meet at someones house-  so if you dont see anyone there-  try the next week-  or email me here if you are interested so we can be in touch.
lots of crochetting, and jewelry, and whatever else is easily transportable to a coffee shop.
woo hoo!  Happy crafting!!
