5  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / 13 days of halloween day 1 and 3 on: October 29, 2008 04:56:33 PM
For the 13 Days of Halloween swap, my day 1 was this afghan and day 3 the pillows.  It was made out of chenille.  I thought it turned out wonderfully and I really hoped (and believed) that my partner would like it a whole lot.

On to the pictures:

My aunt loved the pillows so much she commissioned me to make some for her aunt since her favorite holiday is Halloween.
6  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / 5 pointy kitties on: October 26, 2008 01:01:32 PM
(Sorry if this is posted in the wrong spot.)

I made these for the 13 Days of Halloween swap.  It was one of my first projects with my new sewing machine but I think I got the hang of it. Smiley

My favorite is the orange one.

7  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / 13 days of Halloween items on: October 24, 2008 04:02:21 PM
Here are some of the items that my partner got that she should have opened by now.  I'm pretty proud of them all.

I modified these into coasters from the eyeball doorknob cover pattern found on here (can't find the link right now).

these pumpkins are my favorite. Smiley
8  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / World of Warcraft swap? on: October 17, 2008 05:24:23 PM
For the upcoming expansion of world of warcraft that's coming out, would anyone be willing to do a small WoW swap?
9  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / A tribute post - my nana's works on: October 11, 2008 05:20:07 PM
This post is a tribute to my great grandma.  Unfortunately she passed away two years ago at the age of 96.  My grandpap was cleaning out her house and he gave me some of the things that she made.  That was her and my special bond.  She taught my left-handed self how to crochet and so we always had something that no one else took an interest in.  I just wanted to share some of her works with all of you because she was my inspiration.

10  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / a swap for knitters round 2? on: October 03, 2008 05:51:30 PM
Would anyone be interested in doing a swap for knitters? I participated in the first one and it was pretty fun and I'd be interested in starting one up some time around the beginning of November.
