I missed this on your original posting, so glad I had time tonight just to trawl around and found this. Bloody good job! I will be in Melbourne in April, not sure if it will last that long but I will go have a squiz to see.

Truly incredible! I bet the teacher was thrilled, that was really thoughtful.

Your inchies are lovely (but I think I like your felt food even better!) I am a big fan of inchies but don't know that I would buy any (not just from you, from anyone) because to me they just make me want to make my own.
25  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Weddings and Bridal Showers / Re: Bridesmaid Bouquet -- Origami/sakura/crane themed wedding on: February 24, 2008 02:40:01 AM
Can you have a folding day with bridesmaids/friends/sisters/random people walking past the house? If you teach one person before the day then there are 2 of you to help everyone else. No, every one will not be perfect but they will made by people who love you and from my perspective that is so much more wonderful.

I have just spent 20 minutes on the TechShop site with my boyfriend and I both drooling! Do you think it would be worth moving continents for the front reception job they have ?avail? How cool would it be to work there!

Lovely! They are so sweet. For bookmarks maybe include a little piece of text from a vintage children's book? Thinking Enid Blyton-esque?
28  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Re: Muppet Bracelet NOW WITH BETTER PICS! on: February 19, 2008 10:41:20 PM
Absolutely stunning. If the wear and tear doesn't go so well, maybe a necklace would lessen the knocks and bumps they are subjected to. Statler and Waldorf earrings?

queensqueeze: thanks for the heads up, I've never used the search option Undecided Duh!
OOo i get lost for hours in the search function, I look up one thing and it leads to another then I google suppliers of fabrics I've liked, then I find a tutorial, see someone's work I really like- look up other stuff they have done....This place is an absolute minefield of wonderful information and inspiration; I am still finding my way around (and gathering the courage & knowhow to post my own stuff soon too).
