1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Skirts and Shorts :] on: January 18, 2011 07:40:01 PM
I like to hoard remnants that cost a matter of cents...and as a result I have some odd fabrics.
SO today I finally got around to using them (since it snowed 2 feet, then rained, then froze...I was stuck in the house)

Lacey Skirt

Bubble Skirt

And my favorite... Pj Shorts!
2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / 2 Dumb T-Shirts into One Awesome Top! on: January 18, 2011 07:28:18 PM
I have ALOT of hand-me down tshirts that I never ever wear, but can never throw anything out.  So...I decided to just downsize by combining them all haha!

This one was a black tee that had a weird neck and a pink hollister tee i had no interest in.

And this one was from two odd shirts that didnt fit right.  It came out way too short tho, I doubt I'll ever actually wear it =/

And the other way to wear it
3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Not the Madhatter...but a mad hatter. on: April 05, 2008 06:27:16 PM
Well, I'm not so sure where this would go, but I figured, you wear it, so it's close enough to clothing.

(first hat, so get ready for suckage!)
I made this brimmed beanie using the ThreadBanger tutorial out of a really comfy sweater I got at Sal's Boutique (Salvation Army).  :]

Before: (hat to trace the brim)

It's defiantly imperfect, as you can see by the pulls on the top, but I loves it.  (and don't you love my hardcore expression? xD)

...Annd.....becuase it does not deserve a new topic but I'm immensely happy with it, my sexy-sexy mod-podged Tokio Hotel German class binder. :]

And yeah, I'm a pic whore.  And a comment whore!!  So leave me one, even if it's to tell me that my hat making skeelz are totally lame.  :]
4  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / General MAO stencil tee! ^^ on: March 29, 2008 02:20:10 PM
This Christmas, I once again decided to make things for people (wich never tunrs out well -_-) so I made shirts for my dad and bro.  :]  My other brother helped me cut out the stencils and stuff tho, cos I always cut my hands with the xacto knofe. ><
They are made with freezer paper and acrylic paint, and are machine-washable. :]

He also wore it on New Years!!!!! *dances*

My brother loves history and politics, so I made him a Mao shirt to go with his Mao messenger bag. ^^  Truthfully, I don't know what the characters under him say, but they were with a picture of Mao so I assume they have something to do with him.

(btw this was taken on Christmas morning and that's why my bro looks so out of it xD).

And on the back, the green bled through cos I forgot to put cardboard in between (XD) so I painted a big ol' hammer and sickle flag over the bits of green, and I think I lost that pic T_T oops!

This is an inside joke in our family, FMOC being a branch at my dad's company that is really a total joke, and the bosses always have photo shoots in which all the employees in the FMOC stand around, like a dog and pony show. :]
5  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Sakura: The wig-wearing Dolly on: March 09, 2008 04:10:23 PM
Grin  OKay, I made this doll for my friend for her birthday back in August.    The only pics I have are of before she has permanent hair, so you get to see her in two different wigs. ^^

So!  She has no clothes because my friend wanted to make the clothes herself, but I gave her some panties. :]

She's made of muslin covered in dyed light pink ribbed cotton jersey, with acrylic paint features and a Q-tip nose. :]  And her 'wigs' are those fake pony tails you can get from the dollar store.  ^^

And in the curly-haired pictures, the coat is from a dress-up doggie plushie I have.

Looking back..there are many mistakes xD Especially the eyes and eyebrow.  But..it was my first doll, so whateves.

 Grin FIRST POST EVER!!!!!! Grin
(even thogh I've been lurking acountless for who knows how long)

Okies!!  SO, SpongeBob quote aside, I saw the sweater boot posts like jpilgrimd's and   rissarox's, and I thought it looked really really awesome-smawsome!!!!  (and I don't own boots).  SO!!!!!  I took the pretty blue hand-me-down sweater from my cousin, cut off the sleeves, and glued 'em to my old fake Adidas. AND NOW THEY ARE BLUE-RIFFIC!!!!
