Here are some clothespin dolls that I made recently. I actually did 12 of them total. I actually had a good time doing them. Each one really has a personality of its own!

2  QUILTING / Quilting: Discussion and Questions / Western Theme? on: April 07, 2008 07:05:08 AM
I have almost finished piecing the top of a denim quilt (from old blue jeans). I am going to quilt it, but only in the middle of the squares and not on every square, that way I don't have to run over any seams. I am trying to decide what to do for the backing and the quilting design. Should I use pink on the back and quilt flowers on top, or use like a bandana fabric or other western fabric on the back and quilt hats and boots, etc. on the top. What do you think of these ideas? If you have any other ideas please let me know!
3  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Summer Tweed Yarn by Rowan on: March 09, 2008 04:18:08 PM
I found this awesome shrug pattern in a book from the library, but it calls for summer tweed by rowan. That yarn is about $8 a skein and I would need 8 skeins! I guess it's so expensive because it has silk in it. Anyway, does anyone have any recommendations for a cheaper alternative?
4  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Blocking 3d Objects on: March 06, 2008 08:38:02 AM
I am crocheting an angel that is 3d. I have made one before and had trouble blocking it. Her skirt bulged out in some spots and had divots in other spots. If you have any ideas let me know.

6  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Get Product and Website Opinions / Price for doily on: February 19, 2008 09:12:36 AM
I recently started trying to sell stuff on etsy. I just listed this doily on there, it hasn't been listed long, but I'm getting kind of antsy and am wondering if I am charging too much. I've already reduced the price from $25 to $20. Please give me your opinion, thanks. P.S. There is a link to my store in my signature.

8  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Dress Pattern on: February 14, 2008 03:25:44 PM
I found this dress http://www.aprilcornell.com/Products/April+Cornell+Catalog/PID-DRA5029K.aspx that I really like, and would like to sew one. What is the style of this dress and does anyone know of a pattern that would work? Simplicity is on sale for the next couple of days.
