Columbia College student here!  I know this is far away, but I heard of a quilt show in Columbia in Nov., I think around the 22nd and 23rd.  I realize it's not a craft fair, but still cool none-the-less.

It looks really awesome with patterned fabric.  I also think it's cool you took a picture of your mistake, Lord knows I've made my share of mistakes-and besides, after it's finished it's easier to look back and laugh at the mistakes.

Hello,
I am currently a senior at Columbia College working on my bachelor's in Speech Communication.  For my senior thesis I have chose to discuss how women used particular quilt blocks to express and communicate.

Specifically I have chosen quilt blocks that are Biblical in nature to reinforce the religious faiths in the family and community.

I was wondering if anybody knew of any good sources, such as any books or magazines that discuss where these blocks came from and/or the time period?  I have a good start thus far but I could always use more sources.

Thanks for you time

-Jen
