1  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Seashell Painting on: August 05, 2012 04:50:17 PM
I made this for my bathroom! I glued on all the seashells (when will I learn that using a glue gun for hours at a time is a bad idea?!)
I really like the way it turned out, Smiley

Close up on some of the shells
2  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Elephant and Giraffe Paintings on: August 05, 2012 04:48:36 PM
I painted these for my living room.

I think they look nice next to this mask I bought. Smiley
3  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / My Jewelry Endeavors! on: January 18, 2011 05:53:35 PM
Here's some stuff I've done since school started in fall. I'm fairly new to jewelry making so any comments/criticism are welcome!

I LOVE the way this one turned out! It looks very vintagey to me and it reminds me of the game Kingdom Hearts. I've had this stamp since I was a little kid so it kind of has a sentimental value too.

Here's a blue bead and leaf necklace.

A purple bauble with heart charm bracelet.

This is my other favorite. I found these hearts on a pair of earrings at a thrift store, but they were too heavy for my ears, but I thought they would look perfect on a bracelet. And I think they do. Smiley

I sent a bunch of my favorite seashells along inside.

9  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Manly Pompom hat pattern? on: December 06, 2008 08:15:18 PM
So my friend's brother wants me to make him a hat, that has a pom pom at the top, but I'm having trouble find a pattern that a guy would like. I also really wanna put ear flaps on it, but it's not necessary. Does anyone know any good patterns I could try?
10  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Alien Meatball. on: May 28, 2008 02:56:44 PM

So this is my version of the alien from the book Creepy Cute crochet.
I think he looks rather like a meatball.
If meatballs were rainbow...

I made an even cuter one out of black and white yarn.
Sadly he is a little disheveled... my dog took one look at it and went nuts.
My two chiapoos chased each other around the house with it for hours. Hehe. I'm pretty sure he's buried in the yard somewhere...
