I sat down to figure out a quickie leaf pattern and finished 2 of 3! I hope you like them, Linda P. I'm really quite proud of these two. Now to find an awesome not winging it pattern! haha

36  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: Squirrel Paws Furry Earrings on: May 07, 2011 08:03:53 AM
I like the idea of a cap, like on a rabbit's foot, mostly for comfort's sake. I think that having the top of that foot rubbing on an ear and upper jawline would irritate after a bit. And having it hold something would be pretty cool. I dunno about an acorn as it would put it on the wrong side of morbid for me. ha Anywho, they're pretty cool and if they fit into my wardrobe in the least I'd rock them. ^_^

Thanks, guys! I thought about posting a rough pattern but wasn't sure if anyone cared to have it. Apparently a flaccid phallus isn't in high demand in the crafting world. haha

Oh, man. I think I'll whip one up for my coffee jar!

Great work! Beginners always get the short end of the stick on monotony but it gets a lot better when you're confident with the stitches and counting. Though, counting has always been a huge issue for me even after 21 years! >.<
