1  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: First Post! "Ang" on: September 17, 2010 09:21:33 PM
A focal point in my point of view is a place that the eye can rest on, it's the one part of the art work that has the most "visual interest" to quote my art teacher.  Basically your artwork is very interesting, but the eye doesn't have anywhere to go, so you need to figure out what your focal point is to capture the viewers attention, add variation and enhance the artwork.  Choose a section of your artwork preferably not  anywhere in the center (that will make the work too static) and rework that area to add even more interest to the piece.

Great tutorial! One question, how do you remove the henna tatoo? Do you have to wait for it to fade?

4  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re: PROJECT RUNWAY: Season Six - Episode ONE - Official Discussion Thread on: August 22, 2009 11:30:46 PM
Did anyone else think that Logan (i think that's his name) on the new season is really attractive? He had longish hair and great bone structure (sorry rant about is hotness his over- moving on to talking about the clothes) but the dress he designed was only so-so.  I really liked Chris' winning dress, it was adorable.  Also i agree that in the all star challenge daniel v's collection was not my favorite it looked like an urban outfitters catolog, i loved his red carpet dress though it was really cool  and unique. Both Jeffery and Santino need to get over themselves.  I loved Korto's restaurant dress, but hated her attiude.  I am alone in thinking that Uli's collection was one of the best i though she would be in the top four, i thought it was silly of the judges to penalize her for not doing prints.
