1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / I Heart You and More on: July 02, 2009 11:50:52 AM
So I can't remember the last time I posted something so I figured I would let you guys see what I've been working in my spare time. Well life hasn't been the nicest to me over the last month or two but i still got some things done. I plan on taking a break from the world of guys and spend that time and energy on my crafts and what I love to do. So here's what I've made in the last couple months. But i know I have a lot to say but if you want just the picture just skip right to the bottom now and click on the link.

So first off i graduated from high school this year and boy was that a scary thing because I'm not ready to be in the real world yet but at least i had something cute to wear on my last day there.
OK this is not work i think I'll post a link or something to all of them at once
OK i also have a Japaneses tea light lantern i made in art class this year i also made a stained glass piece but didn't take a picture yet of it.

I saw these really cute jacket, shirt whatchamacallits on etsy and i thought they were really cute and decided to make my own the first one came out too small in the sleeves but i have a picture of it anyways the second on came out too big and i don't' have a picture of it and the last was mostly perfect which in the yellow one. I love how it forms a heart in the front and i had to make a cute heart with it even thought my heart didn't' look as cute as it. But they are made out of over sized t-shirts and they are lined so they don't curl up or anything.

I made a cute dress out of a pair of overalls and a pair of purple pants. I don't' have before pictures but everyone knows what i normal pair of pants look like and what a normal pair of overalls look like.

I needed a cute outfit for a day out to the movies but it ended up being a hike outside in the woods and then to the movies so it's wasn't the best outfit but i made it the night before i don't have pictures of the adventure just when i played dress up in the morning of it. It's from a over sized t-shirt and a sheet for the skirt and straps.
For one of my graduation presents one of my friends tye dyed a hoodie for me it was her first time doing it but I think it turned out pretty good it just has a couple white spots here and there but I think it's cool and it looks soo much better than just a pain white hoodie.

I also made Cute heart shaped hooks to hold my necklaces and all that out of cardboard and old sewing spools i think there's a tutorial or someone made these before on here but i don't know where or who so whoever you out shout it out.

I also made color dots for the walls out of embroidery hoops and fabric to add some more color to my walls. I got the idea off creative juice on DIY network.

Someone else posted something about the binder hook holder thing and i took that idea and used it to hold my scissors so i don't always lose them all the time.

So that's it for now and i'd love to hear what anyone has to say and I will try to post more often not like once every few months or so but thank you for looking at my crafts and maybe until I can figure out why the picture part hates me.

So here's the link to my project i hope this works atleast and if not tell me please.
2  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Can tab make-up bag on: July 31, 2008 09:28:46 PM
i have my can tab makeup bag that i finished on vacation and i started it near the beginning of summer but never did much of it until then. i had a lot of free time like if i would wake up early and nobody is a awake and i had nothing to do. so it's pretty easy to make and i think i love this bag more than my other bags, i think i will make a bigger one like a purse sized one but i gonna need more can tabs for that. so this good for now. oh it's woven together with 1/4" elastic

4  CRAFTSTER CRAFT CHALLENGES / Craftster Craft Challenge Theme Ideas, Etc. / Super market on: July 17, 2008 09:45:01 AM
I don't know if it was said all ready but i think we should have challenge like they had on project runway that you have to make an outfit out of stuff at the super market. You could use anything but you will only have a budget of 20 dollars or something like that. I think it would be a lot of fun it would get everyone's creative mind going. The outfit has to be wearable and not revealing and to start you would need a picture of all the items you used to make your outfit. so i guess all the rules apply from the project runway episode from Wensday. so i don't really know what else to say so i guess that's it. if anyone has anything else they want to add post a comment.
5  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Pick the Pink Patchwork on: May 16, 2008 05:45:40 PM
This long skirt or dress is made out of a bunch of different shades of pink fabic and it took forever, like three whole saturdays, to make but i had help, my aunt and i made it together i think it turned out pretty good but i do trip over it every now and then because it is so long but i like it and i could just hem it again later.  Cheesy

MY newest lamp looks like a layered dress a light bulb sticking out of the top as the head. This was pretty to easy to make because i only used fabric, a lamp set, a pipe to give stability, and small Clay pot for the base, plus fabric stiffener.

Fabric circles before i stiffened them

I think it would cool if we could have a contest to see how many ideas you can come up with that deals with a hood or has a hood on it.
