Class/Challenge/House Pride: Hagrid's Christmas Tree - Bells
House: Hufflepuff
Project Name: Yellow Dress
Brief Description: I like incorporating the torn edges of fabric in hems and then rubbing my fingers over them to make sure they're extra fuzzy.

Class/Challenge/House Pride: Hagrid's Christmas Tree - Fake Snow
House: Hufflepuff
Project Name: Cards Galore
Brief Description: We have a Winter Carnival at work in the break between the Christmas holidays and the start of the spring semester.  There's usually some crafty and cooking workshops.  This year and last I had a grand time making cards out of mostly pre-cut odds and ends from one of the ladies in HR who does the stamping up stuff.

Class/Challenge/House Pride: Hagrid's Christmas Tree - Garland
House: Hufflepuff
Project Name: Winter Woods Dress
Brief Description: I made another batch of this dress for the holidays.  I can't quite tell if the fabric is supposed to be pussy willows or just icy branches.  Either way it's really pretty!

Class/Challenge/House Pride: Hagrid's Christmas Tree Challenge - Angel
House: Hufflepuff
Project Name: Charlie's Blanket
Brief Description: My grandomother with Alzheimers' always perked up whenever I brought my dolls along on a visit, so I was conspiring with my mother to get her one of her own version in plastic for Christmas.  I wanted to have something nice to wrap the doll in, so I put some bias binding on a prequilted scrap in my stash.  With all the handstitching involved it wasn't actually quick, but it certainly could have been a lot worse.  Unfortunately my grandmother became ill in mid-December and passed away before she could receive her gift.

Class/Challenge/House Pride: Hagrid's Christmas Tree Challenge - Baubles
House: Hufflepuff
Project Name: Polka Dot Dress for Realfee
Brief Description: My dolls each have their own personal style completely separate from what I have planned for them.  Hoping that the new girl will like pastels and frills?  She'll insist on only the boldest colors, especially red.  It was really hard to send this dress on its way because it suited my own crew perfectly.

Class/Challenge/House Pride: Hagrid's Christmas Tree Challenge - Icicles
House: Hufflepuff
Project Name: Two YOSD Dresses
Brief Description: This project required paying closer attention to the iron temperature than usual when pressing.  My first attempt melted the ribbon I was using for the button placket!

Class/Challenge/House Pride: Hagrid's Christmas Tree Challenge - Star
House: Hufflepuff
Project Name: Christmas Snowflakes
Brief Description: My favorite of this year's batch of Christmas Dresses, fussy cut out of a scrap given to my by a friend.

Class/Challenge/House Pride: Hagrid's Christmas Tree Challenge - Tinsel
House: Hufflepuff
Project Name: Glitter Snowflakes
Brief Description: The best part about this fabric is that the glitter doesn't shed.  A wonder of modern textile design!

@gala_apples - What an interesting finding!  It's always amazing what you can learn about people from their bookshelves.

First DeStash project of the year done.  Still have bits of both yarns left over, but I've already started a project to make a dent in the variegated yarn.

~*COMPLETED OWL HEADER*~
OWL Subject & Option: Potions
House: Hufflepuff
Project Name: Jaywalkers
Project Page Link: Jaywalker by Grumperina
Brief Description: Although the photo doesn't show it very well, these socks are made with several different stitch patterns that work harmoniously together - ribbing at the cuff, the zig-zag pattern for the leg and top of the foot, slipped stitch for the heel, and stockinette for the toe and sole.  I'm very pleased with how these socks turned out!

Question - does it have to be white AND stripes AND inspired by history AND for myself AND one of the two challenges, or just any of the above? 'Cuz I can do white for myself, stripes for myself, etc . . . not sure about the history thing, and not sure how to fit all those pieces together into one stash-busting piece! Would love to play along, though . . .

Your DeStash Projects don't have to be any of these.  We've had people participating for years without ever filling any of the themes/prompts.  The important thing is that you're having fun crafting from your stash.

Spot for my list, even though I completely forgot about this last year.
