11  Re: Mystery Critter Swap GALLERY (send by Oct. 4th) in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by Kochopia on: October 13, 2011 02:34:06 PM
YAY I got my package yesterday from -zoma- and I'm so happy!!

(P.S. I don't know what the heck is wrong with my camera...its been taking nothing but blurry pictures lately)

So I opened my box (yum yum by the way -zoma- Wink  )

and inside were two packages and two candy bars which don't have any pictures because while I was waiting for my camera to charge, I tore into them

I opened the bubblewrappy one first and yay! another hoop for my wall!

It's so silly

Then I opened a prettily wrapped package (I'm saving the paper for scrapbooking because it is so pretty) and OMG the coolest. critter. ever. was inside

He even has a big removable fist!

and that's him up on my shelf of all my other swap buddies

Thank you so much! He's amazing. I love all the amazing details on him, from his little pocket watch to his awesome fist. And the moustache, not a moustache fits perfectly with everything. I was laughing like a nut the entire time I was opening him

13  Re: MORE Reusable Cup Sleeves [Picture Big] in Crochet: Completed Projects by Kochopia on: October 05, 2011 11:06:14 AM
Oh I also forgot to mention a size H hook...you could use bigger or smaller but you'd have to change the chain length

as for twisting...I always work so the front of my work is on the inside of the sleeve...and then flip it.

I know these aren't the greatest of photos...and I'm not the greatest at explaining things, but basically you take the end of the chain and bring it around the hook to attach it. in the end you really want the front of the chain inside the little round you made.

This is how I do it, working the FRONT of my work INSIDE the round, then flipping right side out.

I hope I didn't just confuse people more  Undecided

14  MORE Reusable Cup Sleeves [Picture Big] in Crochet: Completed Projects by Kochopia on: October 04, 2011 04:03:42 PM
I made these awhile ago to post up. I love making these, there are so many different things you can do with them. PLUS they're perfect for using up extra yarn! They come as sets.

I fell in love with the seed stitch after making these.

The next ones I made are inspired by sushi,

Let me know what you think!

15  The Walking Dead! Zombie Plush! in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by Kochopia on: October 03, 2011 12:39:55 PM
It's October and almost Halloween time! I created this little zombie guy (the second I've made) to get into the holiday spirit (and to also get into the spirit of watching the Walking Dead which starts up again soon I'msoexcited!)

This little boy is about 12" tall

Hand painted facial features and faux fur hair. He looks a little bit like Jay Leno to me

Let me know what you think!

Happy October!

Here is the first one in the series, known as "Sanke"

19  Re: Portal & Friends Swap Gallery in The Swap Gallery by Kochopia on: September 18, 2011 12:47:23 PM
I'm going to post pictures of what I sent FinchyMcFincherton because for some reason the post office hasn't delivered it yet  Undecided

First I made this shadow box, she said she loved the graffiti in the game, so I figured she'd like to have her very own Rat Man den

I also made her and her boyfriend these team fortress t-shirts

Finally, I made this Chell doll and companion cube

I don't know how to transplant hair, so I just painted it black

here are a few more details

I hope hope hope she gets it soon and that it isn't lost in the mail!!
