1  Fingerspelled ASL cookies in Dessert by Jsully03 on: March 09, 2008 08:58:21 PM
My daughter was born deaf and I signed with her since finding out.  Since then she has received cochlear implants, but anyway, my mom is in her 3rd semester of ASL (American Sign Language) and has been obsessed lately. We found a hand cookie cutter and started talking about making signing cookies so she finger spelled my daughter's name. Thanks for looking!!

2  Spongebob and Mickey Cakes in Dessert by Jsully03 on: March 03, 2008 09:50:24 AM
My daughter is turning 4 today and she requested a Mickey mouse cake.  I wanted to make a cake for school too so I did a Spongebob cupcake cake. Unfortunately the school can't have home made cakes but he still turned out good ( I think anyway)

3  Kitty Cat hat in Crochet: Completed Projects by Jsully03 on: January 06, 2008 11:15:42 AM
Ever since my first successful ear flap hat my three year old has been asking for a hat, she hates hats when she was a baby we used to strap hats on her to keep on her hearing aides, which didn't work, but if she insists! So I showed her one with cat ears and she was sold. Well here is the finish product, modeled by my daughter Riley, she's a ham or a goof lol

and then I made one for our friends kid

4  Berry Bear in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by Jsully03 on: January 04, 2008 03:14:18 PM
This guy started off from the pattern by Rheatheylia for his head and ears, but I wanted a pot-bellied bear and just winged it and the rest of him. I am not good at finishing stuff and I am half tempted to leave the eyes off my stuff but I had some buttons so he got some eyes.  I thought he came out pretty good and my dog thinks he is cute enough to eat  hehe  Cheesy Thanks for checking him out!

Thanks to hheever I was able to make my first ear flap hat with chunky chubber stitches! I usually stitch too tight and end up taking 2 weeks to finish something, but I got a bigger hook and with help from hheever I was able to crank this hat out in about an hour give or take cuz my daughter can't stand to not be involved! But its okay I'll put her to work next time hehe Anyway here it is, thanks heever  Cheesy
