My daughter is Doctor Who mad, so we had to make a cake for her birthday that was relevant.  I hoped that David Tennant might come and model for an icing portrait, but alas! twas not to be.

3  6 panel satin skirt for my dancer in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by almond on: February 26, 2008 03:56:37 AM
It was her dance school presentation night on Saturday so I made her an outfit!  The fabric was 99p in a charity shop and I drafted the pattern myself.  I found some matching ribbon and trimmed an old T shirt.

The turquoise socks were her addition to the outfit!

The fabric is about 45 inches wide , which I would use for the length of the skirt and the pattern is along the length of the fabric a bit like this:
