thank you all soo much for the lovely comments!

as far as yarn and patterns go,
for the yarn i believe i used  Lion Brand wool ease yarn. I think its the best yarn for the price.
as for patterns, i didnt use a pattern for the sweater itself. i usually do it by eye, and compare it to a store bought sweater for size. the middle part i got from a russian pattern book, so if someone is really interested in it, i can either try to find it online, or write it out from that book when i'm home for break.

thanks for all the lovely comments!

This is a sweater i made for my boyfriend for Christmas, that i finished in february! haha.
its kinda hard to see the pattern but i worked forever on it and it looks really nice in the sweater.
also, i had to re-do the sleeves twice because when i made him "normal" sleeves they were way too tight on his arm, and since he lives 1 1/2 to 3 hours away(depending on whether i'm at home or school, i couldn't really measure it all the time. also, in the picture of him wearing it they look a little short. theyre actually relaly long and i rolled them up without realizing i rolled them too much!
hope you like it!

my boyfriend in his new sweater

this was his response to my explanation about the sleeves!

it was hard to see the intricacy of the pattern in the middle, but trust me, my hands hurt for a while after it! heh

so for valentines day i made a scrapbook for my boyfriend.
we have an awkward situation because we live in the same town  but go to school 1 1/2 away from each other...
we were friends for almost 4 years, and over the summer we got very close but decided to not be official because long term relationships are hard. eventually, we couldnt take it any longer and decided to make it official. this scrapbook journals the 8 month period from when we started "hanging out" to valentines day. I'm going to make new layouts for all the special things we have in the future.

this is the first page. it was actually the last page i made, so it was kinda..welll...not very good.

this page is called "more than friends" which is when my boyfriend and i had our first kiss, over a month after we started hanging out.

this page is about the summer we spent together. the top is night skys and the bottom is beach days.

the next page is about all the times he visited me at school. the picture is from my favorite visit, which he took me to a super fancy restaurant.

the next one is when we actually became official. the picture is us getting ready to go to a restaurant to celebrate.

the next two pages are dedicated to our first christmas together. he surprised me with a trip to NYC. it was an incredible experience to share with him. this is my fav scrap book page. (or two)

the next page is when we actually said i love you to each other.

this page is for new years. he met my extended family. 30+ people!

and valentines day. I'm going to add the picture to the page once i get it developed since i gave it to him on vday.

oh and heres the album

thanks for viewing.

and btw. i spent less than 15 dollars on this whole album. how thrifty! heh
