21  Re: VDAY Cookie Swap Gallery of Sweets in The Swap Gallery by hngoodlett on: February 03, 2009 08:29:37 PM
Okay here are the pictures of what I sent klippyklip. One of the cookie picture was obviously eaten by my camera, so I'm going to steal borrow a picture from the website I got the recipe from.

Catnip cookies for Atticus:

Oatmeal Mixed Berry White Chocolate Cookies

World Peace Cookies (Picture(and recipe) from smittenkitchen.com)

Cat Toys (filled with catnip and various weights of filler)

Tea towels:

Okay, finally go around to picture time! Fusbdgt made me incredible things, so get your wist finger ready. I seriously had to delete like 8 things from my ists because she made so many perfect things.

Some of these might be out of order, because my camera likes to shuffle things around on the computer.

Opened box:

Everything laying on the bed:

At this time, I'd like to mention that I had had a crap day on Friday and so I was laying in bed and being grumpy until I got my box.

Delicious candy and mustache ornaments. They might not wait until Christmas!

Day 2

Fudge Kit and Eggnog mix. I am thinking about making the fudge when I get done here. It comes with little pans and everything.

Day 3

Reverse applique turtle tshirt! It's so soft and adorable and fits great.

Close up of turtle

Action shot

Day 4

Keychain wallet. The colorful fabric is turtle print, and the brown is a super soft leathery stuff.

Day 5

Dish/washcloths big and little! The yarn is really soft!

Day 6

Fabric curlers! These were in the little fabric pouch seen in the group shot. There are so many of them and they are all so cute!

Day 7:

Etched mustache glasses. So so awesome. I don't even want to use them because I love them too much.

Day 8:

Grocery bags. They roll up and snap to themselves, as you see there. The fabric is the same as on the keychain wallet.

Day 9:
So this one was really heavy, and small and I was so confused.

But it unfolded into this:

Bedside organizer! With Teen Girl Squad!

In action! It blends with my bedskirt, which is nice, but makes the pictures hard to discern. (BTW, it's heavy b/c on the weighted end that goes under the mattress)

Day 10:
Came in this cute box!

Beautiful bracelet and necklace set! This had to take forever!

Close up of beads, with better view of the colors.

Action shot!

Day 11:

Fabulous scrabble pillows! I love these so much! I can't wait to go buy some more polyfill so I can start using them!

Day 12:

Beautiful glittens! So soft, so comfy, so pretty. I can't get over how amazing these are.

In action!

Thanks so much fusbdgt. Everything is so amazing and great.

25  Animal Book for My Niece in Needlework: Completed Projects by hngoodlett on: December 29, 2008 11:39:57 PM
I started this project back in the summer but only finally finished it for Christmas, you know how things go. My niece just had her first birthday, so she was more interested in the bow that was on the box, but everyone else really liked it.

All the pages pre-assembly:

A couple favorites:

All put together:

Cover(A for her name and animals):

The blue lines are from the transfer that refused to wash out no matter how hard I tried.

Thanks for checking it out!

Well my partner's been MIA for a while now so I'm going to post the pictures I have of what I sent. I didn't get pictures of a couple things, and don't really remember the order I used but oh well.

Day 1(Ornaments)

Day 2(Love definition necklace)

Day 3(Rapunzul scarf)

Day 4 (bracelet with mini books and felt ball necklace)

Day 5 (tiny duck stuffie)

Day 6(tote bag)

Day 7 (movie, mug, and hot cocoa)

Day 8 (Another love necklace and embroidered bracelet)

Day 9 (handspun yarn (not by me) and crochet hooks)

Day 10 (jar of whimsies)

Some of the things inside:

Day 11 (armrest protector/threadcatcher/pincushion)

A very crappy picture. Also excuse the mess. The pincushion part is removable so that it can be used by itself.

Day 12 was a sketchbook/journal and some sharpies. There were some shrinky-dinks somewhere as they were on her wist. Those all escaped photo time.

27  Re: Scrapbook Cookbook Round 2 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by hngoodlett on: November 06, 2008 12:50:44 PM
So our lovely organizer DesignVigilante has been moving, but she let me know she received, so I'm going to post my very un-photographic pictures of what I sent. I hope she doesn't mind!

Purchased cookbook:

Scrapbook Cover:

I'm not a super-duper scrapbooker, so the inside pages were kinda plain compared to what you guys have done. Sorry DV!

Placemats with flowers:

There were two of each color.

Closer view of the lighter one. It has l;ittle flowers on the fabric.

I received from MareMare on Tuesday and I'm so excited! She sent me a lovely sleep mask that I immediately used to take a nap, 2 awesome soaps (my P.O. Box smelled awesome when I opened it) and a bracelet from my wist! Also a lovely birthday card that I'll save until December  Wink.

The whole shebang!

Soaps (Black Raspberry Vanilla and Pink Grapefruit YUM!)

Sleep mask modeled by my cow!

Also, I'm going to post pics of the package I sent to crafty+sassy, since she's received.

I claimed her for some Harry Potter goodies, and made some jewelry.

A Harry Potter charm bracelet

Shots of other charms:

Blurry shot of the Polyjuice Potion Earrings

Super proud of these! Luna's Radish Earrings
