21  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Bunnies, kitties, Snoopy, and fringe :D! on: August 30, 2010 09:20:38 PM

Fringe halter. This project was done really quickly, so its not the best looking. But I LOVE it! I plan on making another, in a colored shirt.

My mom bought me this top at target and while I loved the color, I thought the black buttons and stitching were far too harsh. So, I took a seam ripper to the stitching, stitched over with white thread, and replaced the black buttons with little white bunnies Smiley! I think its much cuter now. <3!

Kitty top. I cut a square neckline, laced some black tshirt scraps around the neckline, leaving two long pieces that can be tied around the neck (like shown) or in other ways.

Snoopy top. Made using this tutorial: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XLHrhMFlxZY

22  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Rainbows and baby dinos :D! on: August 30, 2010 09:17:55 PM

Simple ruffley skirt with lace. The fabric has adorable little baby dinosaurs, and the lace is white with some rainbow details. Smiley!

Simple tank dress with drawstring.

Hair bow and candies made out of the same fabric.

23  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Various Things, (Necklaces, Headbands, Hairclips, etc) on: August 03, 2010 04:27:53 PM
Hair clips:

Glow in the dark stars.
Pardon the smeared glue, I have to clean that up.

Skull and cross bones.
Halloween decoration bones, a skull ring, and ribbon.

Pastel bears.
I got the bears from dollar tree, they were picks for like cupcakes and things for babyshowers.

Star and ribbon.
The star was from a broken Tinkerbell necklace I had. It lights up Smiley!

(Clicky the video to see it light up^^ Smiley!)

Tea pot brooch.
A little wooden cut out from Michael's and ribbon, on a pin back.

Pom pom bracelets+rings/Hair scrunchies. Can be used both ways Smiley!

Headbands from chokers.
I got the chokers on clearance at Hot Topic a while back, and decided to turn them into ornate headbands. Cheesy!

Panda Necklace.
Got this little guy in one of those 50 cent machines. Those things always have the best junk to make into jewlery! Haha.

Rib cage necklace.
Made from a skeleton halloween decoration from dollar tree.

Ice cream cone necklace.
This had bubbles in it, and once my friends and I used them all, I turned it into this necklace Smiley! I had some rhinestones glued on to look like sprinkles, but I decided I didn't like it and scraped 'em off.
But yeah.

24  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / T-shirt, Bed Skirt, Moo-moo, and Bed Sheet Recons on: August 03, 2010 04:07:58 PM

Spirograph skirt out of a tshirt.
I used this wonderful tutorial Smiley! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8XLjjsUQyvc
Its so fun. I wish it was a bit longer, but it'll be great to wear over jeans or leggings, or even other skirts. Cheesy!

Dress from a bed sheet.
I got this bed sheet at a thrift store for a dollar, so I tried making a simple dress. No pattern, and thus it failed. Its a biiiiit tight, which usually happens when I try to make things fit without elastic :/! Hahaha. I'm still learning there.

Bed skirt to ruffly loli-esque skirt.
I used a pre-ruffled bedskirt to make this two tiered skirt with an elastic waistband. It was an easy project with some pretty good results, IMO.
I made a tutorial for it, Smiley! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FJWik24p9bY
Its great for beginners!

Moo-moo to tunic dress.
I got the moo-moo from the thrift store for a couple bucks, I absolutely fell in love with the print. Rainbow, hellur!
I shortened it, used to fabric from the bottom to make a belt, sliced the sleeves in half and made little tabs to gather them.
Its pretty different compared to anything I normally do, but I like it Smiley!

25  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Pastel Babydoll Dress and Cuppycake Skirt on: August 03, 2010 03:48:55 PM

Cuppycake skirt with rainbow lace and bottom ruffle. It came out a bit longer than I planned, I might shorten it, I might leave it as is. I tend to wear my skirts higher up on my body anyway.

Strapless babydoll dress, with lace and ribbon details. Its not totally finished; I'm going to add some big buttons on the bodice between the lace and a pink ribbon belt to help with the fit. But, you get the idea.

26  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Nanananananananananana BATMANNNNN! on: April 11, 2010 09:35:53 PM
Birthday present for my friend, Austin, obv. Haha

I took a Batman comic, dissected it, and used it to collage this. Framed it, bam, insta-gift!
I originally wanted to collage the letters and have the background plain, but I like this better.

27  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Various projects on: April 11, 2010 09:30:22 PM
Failed cupcake bracelet

I'm still pretty much a n00b at poly clay, as you can see.
This is a good idea, poor execution. :/!
Oh wells.

Blue junk

Brooch made from a cardboard heart decorated with random blue junk I had laying around.

Panda pin

Felt panda stuffie on a pin.

Hello Kitty bow

Red and black felt on a hair clip. Cheesy!

Sunglasses necklace

I found some cute little kids sunglasses in the dollar section at target and made them into a necklace Smiley!

And yeah.
28  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Tshirts+safety pins= on: April 11, 2010 09:21:28 PM

This skirt.
Not much else to say otherwise.

29  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Project dummmmmp on: April 11, 2010 09:16:28 PM
Miss me, guys?
I've been kind of lagging on my posts.
I haven't been crafting quite as much lately. Life is pretty hectic, but I hope to get back into my creative loop soon.

Bear dress.

My mom got me the fabric for my birthday.
I'm trying to do less babydoll type dresses because I feel repetitive... and more regular bodice ones. I'm still having some trouble with fit, but I'm getting better. I don't use patterns, cause I don't really care for them, but that adds to my problem I suppose. The bodice for this dress is basically a couple rectangles, shirred in the back, and darted in the front. I'll probably sew on some waist ties or make a sash or something to fix the fit issue and just do better on my next dress. Haha. The skirt is alternating panels, two with ruffles.

Spiderweb dress

I had great plans for this dress, but I didn't have a lot of fabric, so I was forced to go with a basic tunic dress thing. There's some elastic under the boobs (That you can't really see) to make it less boxy and shapeless.

Unicorn skirt

Full of flaws, but its still probably one of my favorite things I've made Smiley!
Gathered skirt with ruffle hem and rainbow ric rac trim.

High-waisted Damask print corset skirt

Yeah. This is one of the longest skirts I've made. Haha. Its just a pretty basic high-waisted skirt, shirring in the back, and corset lacing up front.

Sugarskull dress

Trying to do different types of dresses so I don't grow bored of my own creations.. This is a tunic type deal, with waist ties to help fit.

That's all for now.

30  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Lots of perler beads on: January 24, 2010 06:02:33 PM
I've missed perler beads for a while, so I decided to make a couple pieces using them.

Doll house necklace.

Love letter necklace.

Crayon necklace

Panda hair clip

Hot pink and neon yellow leopard heart hair clip

Rainbow crayon hair clip

(not perler beads, obv)

Zipper bow hair clip.

Toy/junk brooch for my friend, Alexis Smiley!

Ribbon and button brooch for my friend, Amber Cheesy!
