1  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects / New Vegan Lip Balms on: January 30, 2008 07:17:44 PM
I've decided to make more flavored lip balms. I made them using Castor Seed Oil, Palm Kernel Oil, Avocado Oil, Coconut Oil, Aloe Leaf Extract, Carnauba Wax, Candelilla Wax, cosmetic color and flavor oil. The coffee, banana and peach also have essential oils.

My favorite right now is the Banana Daiquiri...Humm!!!

Peach Lemonade

Iced Watermelon

They all have a clip cap to clip it on a key chain, purse, etc.
2  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects / I Made Soap For Shaving! on: January 23, 2008 06:43:31 AM
Here's a soap I made specially for shaving, full of kaolin clay to add slip to the razor.
It's goat's milk with kaolin clay, honey, patchouli and orange essential oils. Smells pretty!

I just put a tag on to see how it would look, but that's not the correct tag for this soap.
3  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects / New Soap Pineapple Cilantro on: January 18, 2008 07:01:27 AM
Check out my newest creating: Pineapple-Cilantro Goat's Milk Soap.

I was happily surprise by how the swirls turned out.

The fragrance is of fresh juicy pineapple balanced by a light trace of cilantro. Very tropical and mouthwatering.
4  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects / Natural Deodorant on: January 16, 2008 08:04:37 AM
I think I have mastered the deodorant recipe. Not only it's totally natural and smells amazing, it is super effective and refreshing!!

This is Ginger Lemon and Sage.

I also made another one with a bit of fragrance (98% natural)

For those wondering why you should use a natural deodorant...
Almost every antiperspirant on the market contains nasty amounts of aluminum and chemicals to stop you from perspiring. Our underarm area allows the body to cleanse and detoxify itself along with helping to regulate the bodys temperature by the release of sweat.

What scents would you like to have in a deodorant? Give me some ideas!!  Smiley
5  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects / Have a BEER (soap) on me! on: January 12, 2008 11:07:51 AM
OK, this is the third batch of beer soap I make. I added tangerine essential oil for a citrus kick and it smells great! I'm very happy with it (and so are the men in my family). This beer soap is very rustic-looking and the fact that has REAL beer it is a favorite among the guys. It's HUGE 5oz +

superfatted with castor oil, this soap lather like crazy and is super moisturizing.
6  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects / Because just EATING chocolate isn't enough on: January 11, 2008 08:47:20 AM
