Hi guys!
So like the title says, this is the first piece of clothing I've sewn all by myself! I used a pattern from like 1980 or something?? It's a pretty worn pattern, but if anyone actually wants the pattern brand or # I'm sure I can track it down. I did modify it quite a bit, just to suit my taste, but for the
most part it's like the pattern.
Anyways I'm not completely satisfied with it. I really liked it before I hemmed it... it was just above my knees before hemming. Ok so as soon as I hemmed it, it like POOFED out soooooo much! I can't decide if it is a good thing or bad thing?? Any advice? I think it was because a) I did a really quick 5 min. job doing the hem b) it's quite hard hemming a circle c) I hemmed it A LOT.
I had to buy the belt today just so the yoke part, didn't stretch so much because it is a little bit big around that area. I think it looks much better with the belt? Mum says I look like I'm from the 80's

which I guess is reasonable since the pattern is from the 80's haha. The worst part about this project was pleating underneath the yoke if that makes sense? Let's just say pleating denim, is not fun at all. I'm an expertise at unpicking! Anyways overall I'm pretty happy with it!
