1  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / how do i do this (regarding bottle caps) on: November 26, 2005 11:32:28 AM
How do i get the little plastic out of the bottle caps....

i tried scraping it out but it won't budge. I thought maybe there is a trick like boiling them and they fall off or something. please help me.

I can't bare to throw away band t-shirts. This was a shirt that was my boyfrined's It was to big and had holes in the pits.. lol

This for a good friend at work that's been bugging me to make her a purse forever.

 I was at the fabric store and I saw a wrist band with a magnet on it, it was $5.99 though ... ouch my pocket. So I decided to make my own.

I just made a tube, stuck a magnet in it, and then sewed up the sides to hold it in.
I know I could have done a much better job on the stitching but I threw it together rather quickly definitely going to use a stronger magnet next time too. But this on works fine
