Nice work!  Cute fabric too.

Love it, you could totally get away with wearing it around!  Well maybe not during the summer. Wink  I love the buttons, where did you find them?

Gorgeous corset and thanks for posting the name and number of it.  Methinks I'll have to use it for an upcoming SteamPunk event... Smiley

Thank you for the tutorial!  I've been trying to find a similar pattern for ages!  My small boobs = most sundresses don't fit, but this one should be perfect!

Gorgeous!  How long did it take you to make and did you use a dress form?  The fit is amazing!
156  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: Laptop cases on: August 14, 2008 09:11:44 AM
That is a great idea and execution!  Plus it makes the laptop look kinda like one of the fabric covered Trapper-Keepers so it could help keep it from getting lifted from your bag.
157  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Pocketbook/Clutch in one! on: August 14, 2008 09:07:14 AM
I tend to like small purses that are more like a mini sack than anything else.  Too many pockets and I can't find anything!  I've made purses before, but here's my first attempt at a liner, a zipper, and making a strap that allows that bag to transform from a shouldered pocketbook to a wrist-strapped clutch.  I just added a button an inch above the bag part on the inside of the strap and a corresponding buttonhole about 10 inches up the strap.

158  California / California: North / Calling All Santa Rosa Crafters - Need Area Info on: December 28, 2007 12:27:18 PM
Hi Folks, I'm a knitter/sewer moving from Chico, CA to Santa Rosa, CA at the end of January.  I've been through the area a few times and stayed the night in Rohnert Park once or twice, but that's about as familiar as I am with the area.

I was hoping for some tips on knitting/crafting circles, good craft paraphernalia stores (aside from the typical Michaels, JoAnns, etc) as well as info on the general area.  Any tips on good/bad areas to live, known rentals, etc would also be greatly appreciated!  I'm looking for a 2 bedroom house with a garage and a fenced yard that will take me, the boyfriend, and the 3 year old black Lab.  We'd prefer living near Rohnert Park as that's where the BF will be working (and probably me too).

Edit: We're here and loving it!  I'm looking for folks to knit, sew, etc with on Tues/THurs/Sun evenings.  Hit me up if you're interested!
