11  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions / Kitchen Themes on: January 05, 2008 10:07:02 PM
Eventually DH and i will have our own place and when we do, i want to be ready!! LOL One thing i really miss about having our own place is having our own kitchen. I hate my mothers >.< its tiny, which isn't so bad... but she puts things in the most unlogical places and it -always- looks messy... Any who, enough ranting, which of these themes do you like best? I won't actually be buying any of these products, but if i find one i really like i will come up with my own crafted version Wink Oh and if you happen on something you want to add go for it! I want more ideas =) I like Country Style-ish the best =p

13  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Do you ever feel like you have too much crochet in your life? on: January 05, 2008 02:21:17 AM
Not the ACT of crocheting... but... too much crocheted things in your house?

Basicly, i have the crochet bug and i have been looking at patterns for a million things crochet! Crochet pillows, pot holders, table runners/skirts, christmas decorations, christmas tree skirts, crochet stockings, bathroom rubs, tissue box covers, soap holders, stuffed dolls, dresses and such, curtains... just really, A LOT and i want to make it all! LOL However, i wonder if i would feel like i have -too much- crocheted things...

For those with lots, do you ever feel like it its too much? Or do you continue to love it for a long time?
14  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Misc. Gift Idea Brain Blockage / Crafting for men on: January 03, 2008 11:50:50 PM
What do you craft for a man who doesn't have an overwhelming love for anything? lol that doesn't sound right... what i mean is, some guys like dragons, you make them dragons, some guys like superman, you make them superman, some guys have a passion for golf or what ever, you make something like that... what about the guy whose intrests are not as easy to pin point?
15  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Any one know any good sites on wood carving? on: January 01, 2008 10:12:09 PM

16  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / I Made 'I have no idea what im doing' Ear Muffs =D UPDATE W/ PICTURES =D on: January 01, 2008 02:19:12 AM
Im very excited but can't post pictures until tomorrow. (My camera is out in the car and i am -not- going outside in fear of freezing my bum off... i made ear muffs, not bum muffs xD) Its really funny becuase i was going to copy a tutorial some one posted (will include that tomorrow) But i didn't want to cut the yarn as that would require getting up... have i mentioned im lazy? =p So i just kept going and going and was doing stitches i don't even know what to call... AND YAY! They look a bit amish and my husband had to surpress a giggle... he claims he won't make fun of me when i wear them. =) Can't ask for more can i ?? =D =D this is also my first completed project =D wee!

I think the 'unknown' stitches may be slip stitches... but i havent looked it up yet... it was just a stitch used for moving down the fabric with out effecting the outside.. I will point it out in the morning Wink Some one smart can tell me =D

OKAY here it is... I didn't cut the yarn until i was finished, this is all sewn as one peice. It started out suppose to being like this until i realized i was too lazy to get up and get scissors https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=214801.0 Thanks pirkko =)

17  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Rtheatheylia's Lavander Bunny... help please? on: December 29, 2007 02:42:22 PM
http://www.rheatheylia.com/index.php?page=patterns&id=3

I can crochet... some what, but i have never actually followed a pattern before. I can read the pattern and know that it says 'increase every stitch- 12' Heres the questions... what stitch is it using? Is it just a single crochet? or a double? or something else?
