It's gorgeous! The thought of all those French Knots make my eyes water. Well done!

What started out as a Craftster Crush has turned into a bonafide friendship. I recently had the pleasure of being a houseguest of our own MistressT. A hostess gift is in order! And when that hostess is one of the most creative, smart and witty craftsters with a scary attention to detail some serious thought must be applied to the plan.
Enter Pinterest, where you can basically stalk the inner recesses of your subject's desiring mind. And...Jackpot! The MistressT has an entire board dedicated to Butchering Charts. Awesome.

With her inspiring prompt, the results are as follows...personally, I like their simplicity.

I debated about whether to place the animals in the corner at an angle or to position them straight on the bottom edge. The chicken decided to accommodate my need for both...though she looks a bit tuckered out.

Oh, Thanks T...I totally forgot.
For an appropriate wrap job I came up with this butcher shop theme.

(shiny side out cuz it's prettier)

So, here's what I think is happening here... I'm thinking "I would really like to stencil a rug and what's with this cute arrow trend I'm seeing nowadays? I really want to try that." And then the next thing you know you actually do it and with finesse beyond compair. Is it a mind meld? Are you a cyber-idea-zombie? Or, most likely, just a creative genius who actually kicks her butt in gear and is productive as hell! It looks amazing! ❤️❤️❤️

As I like to say..."my daughter lives five thousand dollars away." Hahaha!
But this isn't about me. I love the phrase you used. Very understated and SO sweet. :'-)

Cool idea for a Mother's Day gift and you did a lovely job on the embroidery work (while I realize it's outside the scope/concept of this project, I think that a map of all 50 states, or even all the countries of the world, done in a similar style, would be epic).

Super cute, T. And while I love the idea of an embroidered world map, being the map freak that I am, with me in California and my daughter in Denmark...it really is that far.  Tongue But I might just go ahead and do it anyway. Denial ain't just a river in Egypt, right?

WELL DONE!! as usual, you sure do walk the craft walk, Baby!  Kiss
