11  Cable Hats, Desert Sunrise and Ponytail in Knitting: Completed Projects by Lyndzi on: February 13, 2008 06:51:39 PM
Two hats I've made semi-recently. I used the pattern off of HeadHuggers website (check it out, the mannequins on it are crazy disturbing!), both of which I've altered for my own evil ways.

The first one I made for my friend Ashe who always wears a ponytail, and in this freezing Wisconsin weather can never wear a hat successfully. So I though: Hat + Hole... and Viola! A Ponytail Hat! The colors of light brown and dark brown were to match her gloves. The hole was kind of lame and square, and this pic was taken with a phone, so it's hard to see, but my next one will be better, I'm sure.

The second one was with a beautiful ball of yarn I got, that I renamed Desert Sunrise, because it reminds me of Arizona everytime I look at it.
