1  Petticoat of DOOM!!! in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by phoenix_fire on: October 24, 2008 09:39:03 PM
One week and 63 yards of black tulle later, I have a petticoat of DOOM to go under my Halloween costume! And the best part is that I can use it by itself for other costumes!

2  Re: Halloween Swap 2008 Gallery of Spooky Goodness in The Swap Gallery by phoenix_fire on: October 14, 2008 09:30:38 AM
I got woken up by the mailman ringing my doorbell this morning! So naturally I jumped up and whaddya know! I received my package from Lady Hope!!!

What I saw when I first opened the box!

Underneath the owl and the newspaper!

Everything laid out!

My new completely HAND SEWN owl plushie! I love him sooo much! Sorry the pic is kinda dark  Undecided

Detail of the fabric she used for the wings! It's a suede like material and it's super soft!

The cutest thing EVER! Wait til you see what's inside  Wink

But first you get to see the board on the back  Grin

The cutest little pumpkins!

Against the funniest looking monsters! The one in the middle cracks me up  Cheesy

Some Halloween decorations along with the nifty box they came in. I love the little witch with the tree and bat! The pumpkin candles are too cute!

A really awesome wall hanging!

The ghost panel

The pumpkin panel

The candy corn panel

Now onto the candy!

Candy corn and pencils! I love candy corn and pencils!

Some random candy that will prolly be gone by the end of today!

A Betty Boop candy jewelry kit thingy! I love it!

A candy thing that grows grass!  Cheesy

Some Nintendo gummi candy! These are so cool I don't even wanna eat them!

This little guy made me happy. He was just so randomly waiting at the bottom of the box by himself.  Tongue

I also got some really cute Hello Kitty stickers but for some reason I didn't take a pic of them, lol  Undecided

3  Re: Share your Mess...Then let's clean it up! in Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions by phoenix_fire on: August 17, 2008 10:48:18 PM
My brother moved out a couple of years ago so I kind of took over his old bedroom and used it as my crafting room. Well he's going to be moving back in REALLY soon so I need to convert my messy messy bedroom into my sewing room/bedroom quick! Here lemme show you...

I have to move all this crafty stuff...

This one is kinda dark, sorry  Undecided

into this messy place...

Can I do it? I have no freaking idea, but I'm going to try! Someone mentioned that it was like Hobby Lobby threw up in their room... well Jo-Anns threw up in mine, lol  Grin

4  For all you Trigun fans! in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by phoenix_fire on: July 13, 2008 09:34:22 AM
I just recently finished watching Trigun (for those of you who don't know, it's an anime) and I loved it! And wouldn't ya know that my fav character, besides Vash of course, would be Kuroneko sama? Lol, well anyway I decided I REALLY wanted a kuroneko sama hat, so I made one! Enjoy!

She's made completely outta fleece except for her mouth. The pupils of her eyes were satin stitched onto the yellow fleece and then those were satin stitch onto the body of the hat. The mouth is made out of pink felt but I had so much trouble trying to sew it on by machine, that I just opted to sew it on by hand in the end. The eyes and the mouth are still crooked but it doesn't bother me enough to fix it, lol.

Oh yeah and please forgive that fact that I look REALLY tired and retarded in these pics!

5  My new messenger bag! in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by phoenix_fire on: May 17, 2008 08:26:35 PM
I made one for myself a few months ago using brown corduroy and some stripe fabric for the lining and I liked it at the time but then I decided it's time for a new one. I found this really cute remnant at Jo-Ann's that was about half a yard (just enough for the lining) so I decided to make it out of that and I used red twill for the outside.

The outside... nothing special

To show the lining.

My cell phone/calculator/pen pocket.

I wonder if these would sell on Etsy....
