2  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Anyone like vintage knitting patterns? on: April 17, 2010 02:07:31 PM
Hi, I was just wondering if anyone here likes vintage knitting patterns?
I'm an avid collector and have been trying to preserve my patterns by scanning them and making them into .pdf files.

If you would like to try them out for free, please go to my website:

If you knit any of the patterns please send me photos of the finished item. I would love to see what they look like in the flesh!

4  COOKING / Dessert / Lovely raisin and oatmeal cookies on: May 09, 2009 03:29:09 PM

Hello everyone,
I made a batch of these gorgeous raisin and oatmeal cookies today. The recipe made a large amount of dough, so I cooked half and put the rest in the freezer for another day. I made about 18 good sized cookies from half the dough. To me they kinda taste similar to pepperidge farm cookies. If anyone wants the recipe I can post it. Cheesy

I have a big stash of mohair and would like to knit my daughters a nice lacy cardigan each. Anyone know a suitable pattern?  It can be a cardigan/wrap cardigan, shrug or bolero as long as it is lacy.
