2  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Hexy Crochet Blanket on: July 17, 2011 12:32:51 PM
I love it! I'm making a granny square blanket for my friend but maybe I can make it out of hexegons or little sqares. I'll have to look up how to make them though, I've never done it before.
3  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Re: What should I do with a BUNCH of WHITE YARN?! on: July 14, 2011 12:44:12 PM
Lacy fingerless gloves, doilies, hats, scarfs, purses, jewlery, scrunchies, coasters, candy dishes, cozies for cell phones and or ipods, amigurami, dishclothes, potholders, soapsavers, socks or slippers, stockings, placemats, headbands, pillowcases, baby blankets, laptop case, flowers, garland. Ok, I ran out of ideas but you get the point, anything and everything!
4  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Re: Crochet in Fiction (Movies, TV, Books) on: July 14, 2011 12:31:07 PM
There's a part in Gone With The Wind where Melanie is crocheting. And I think it mentions that one of the girls in Little Women know how to crochet.
5  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Re: How important is the way you hold your hook? on: July 14, 2011 12:27:14 PM
I hold my hook like in knitting, sort of like holding a knife. It doesn't matter how you hold the hook as long as it's comfortable.

Here's the link to my blog: http://howtocrochetstep-by-step.blogspot.com/
It's all about crochet. I'll be writing more patterns soon.

I'm your daughters age (I'm using my Momma's account) and I don't think I could do that good. The turtles are genius.
The bears are cute too. Smiley

I just love the first one. She is so cute! Smiley
9  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Lalaloopsy! Crumbs Sugar Cookie and Pillow Featherbed w/pets (& pic overload) on: May 19, 2011 10:29:22 AM
Your dolls are so much better than the others. I didn't even know they were made of plastic. I like the one with the pink hair. I started making a doll but I haven't done much. You have inspired me to start again right away.  Smiley
10  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: How Bazaar! Crochet creatures & jewelry. *Patterns added!* on: May 19, 2011 10:21:15 AM
Those are so neat! I bet all of the kids loved them.    Smiley
