3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Slav skirt on: December 21, 2008 09:15:26 AM
Hello here is the last skirt I did.

back view:

old pink lining:

close up on the pocket

close up on the belt:

It's made of dark grey corduroy and (liberty I guess) cotton fabric, there is an old pink lining.
I used a free burdastyle pattern "Sidonie", it's quite easy but too short for my taste so I lenghened it with this stripe of flowery fabric and I added the belt with little pocket to make it less "serious" Wink
I'd love to read any comments
Happy sewing!

5  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / I loved it, I did it! pleated skirt on: November 25, 2008 11:33:36 AM
I fell in love with this: http://www.somewhere.fr/Fr/jupe-en-maille-coton-et-laine.htm?ProductId=2_0_0_00100_3076_74_SW
then I did that:

I looked carefully to the picture and made the pattern myself, it was quite simple and I m quite proud of the result!

9  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / reconed shorts for my 2 years old boy on: July 26, 2008 01:37:14 AM
Here's the summer and I missed a short for my boy so I reconned an adult short that I didn t like,

here you can see what's left from the original adults shorts then you can understand how I did it!

detail of the pocket , I had to add a small blue stich because the original pocket was of course too big

Finally I used the leg to make a bag! if you want to see it :https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=259705.0

I hope you like it!
