21  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Re: Santa Maria Style Tri-Tip on: September 04, 2010 10:19:35 PM
I live near Santa Maria, and it's funny to think that other people even know what tri tip is.  Pretty much every barbeque around here involves tri tip.  You can get it whole or cut up into steaks.  It does come out better cooked whole, though.

Same here! It's weird to think Santa Maria Tri Tip is like a "thing". Lol I don't think I've ever been to/hosted a BBQ where we didn't have tri tip. Most delicious meat ever!

I swear they zoom in on him like every 3 minutes. Lol but I have to admit, he isn't bad to look at Wink

I want either Portugal or Germany to win the World Cup. Those are my 2 favorite teams. Lol I would try and make Germany cupcakes but it would take a lot of food coloring to get a black batter! Haha

Lol I got a craving and made one for myself. I baked it instead of frying and I didnt use bread crumbs, just some garlic salt and black pepper

30  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Re: Brain Pendants - :) Glow in the dark on: June 05, 2010 04:13:38 PM
They look so cool! I love the fact that they glow lol

Advice for next time you do custom orders: make them pay first! or at least pay half so if they back out, it's not a complete loss.  I know other people who have had that happen...make the item and then the person changes their mind.
