I am sitting on my hands, finding it very, very hard to not post pics until my partner gets them. Almost ready to close the box and send it out.

5  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Snowflake circles fuzzy scarf. on: December 04, 2008 01:00:52 PM
I'm sure originally I got them from a pattern, but these are the snowflakes I've made for Christmas trees and package toppers since I was 12.

The circles are a 3-chain ring, with 14 DC around, then 2 DC in each for the second row.

The snowflakes are a 3-chain ring, with 2 DC, 1 chain, 2 DC, etc. Then second row is 1 DC in space, 1 DC in next stitch, then 3 picots joined at base, repeat around.

I crocheted around with eyelash yarn. I'm really happy how it turned out. I wish I had enough of the yarn to make a hat and mittens too.

I scored a big bag of odds and ends. This is the end result of muttzing with it last night.

Thank you. I used this pattern:

But I added a shell border instead, and of course a snowflake on both sides of the cap.

WOW!

Laurel, I have sold 2 of the ____ I made for you. My friend's mother wants one and a lady from her church ordered one too.

I feel like I should send you a cut. (Not really) Smiley

And we're glued to the TV also. This is the first election without all my boys here. Last election was so wild. It's so quiet with just the two of us. Sad

AARRGGHHH!!

My best friend stole my first ornament. Not quite stole, it was more like "Oooooh! I'm taking that home!" but still....
