1  Kinda like a circus skirt.... in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by Chillychick on: September 01, 2005 08:07:57 PM
Well sort of. It does have all of the colours. I made one of those "peasant"-y skirts. I only used 1 metre of fabric and I still have some left. I love this skirt because it's all air-y and woo. I'm trendy for once! Hurrah! Anywho, here are some pictures.

Yes, I am slanted.

And upclose! Wham!

2  Polka Dotty-ness. in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by Chillychick on: August 26, 2005 08:36:03 PM
*Photobucket it being stupid right now so my pictures aren't showing up all the time*
Yo. So I made this mini messenger bag back in April while Watching the Junos. [Woo Canadian!] I didn't get around to posting it now but it's better late than never. Anywho, I made it using Polka dot corduroy and plain red lining. It had a zippered pocket, 5 pen holders and a calculator pocket (Of course!) It holds everything nicely for school. Everything is top stitched with matching red thread.  Cheesy On with the pictures...

It kinda camouflages in with my red bed skirt and rug...

And a Red Calculator!

Standard shot showing how much crap it can hold.

Woo. Thanks everyone.

3  A Technicolour Wedding! in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by Chillychick on: July 15, 2005 02:53:47 PM
Alright so my auntie got married today and I needed something to wear to the wedding. It was my chance to make something awesome! I decided on making a dress with a Simplicity pattern. Unfortunately because I'm so short I had to alter the length and the upper bodice. Besides that it went pretty well. I used this amazing White fabric with yellow, red and pink spots. Have a look for yourself. And sorry for the Humungoid pictures and the squinty expression. The sun was rather bright.

Edit- Because I can't spell.

Here is what I sent Sugaree. I sent her "The Cay" which is my favourite book. Even if I did read it in Grade 6 I still love it. You can't see but the other side of the bookmark has Knitting pictures on it because she said she loves to knit.  Cheesy

My first attempt at a stuffed toy. It sorta looks like a deranged bear with wings. I love him to death though. I named him Weldon after the child I adopted on the sims.  Cheesy Yes, I am Strange.

8  Polka-Dot Jordy and a Wacky Messenger Bag in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by Chillychick on: January 24, 2005 04:03:25 PM
So, I got my first commission over christmas for a purse. She said she wanted something "Punk like but cool with a plaid checkered thing." So I combined a textured upolstery fabric with some gingham, polka-dots and tulle and volia una purse-a. I had to had paint the button black because it turned a funny purple some how.

Here is my messenger bag I made with the Messenger Bad tutorial at the top of purse page. It's made out of this quilty type fabric. It has a bumpy sort of texture. There are 2 credit card slots on the front pocket and 2 other ones to fit books. There are pen slots on the inside with a calculator pocket (Woo hoo. Nerds unite! Cheesy) and a zippered pocket for lip balm and my French horn mouthpiece. (Band Nerds unite! Haha.)
I use it daily!

10  Old 45s Record Clutch in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by Chillychick on: December 22, 2004 01:24:00 PM
I was digging through my basement yesterday and found some old 45s (along with a shoe used for my other purse) I thought. "hey wouldn't that make a cool purse?" So with no pattern I came up with a clutch that wasn't really supposed to be a clutch but it is.  Cheesy Also, I so proud of myself that I figured out how to to the zipper part and also that my sewing machine didn't try and eat the zipper.  Grin I used a only Disney Land Record called Lambert the sheepish Lion and a charlie bronwn's all-stars record. Here are some pictures so You can see how it was assembled and other stuff. (Actually, I just really like taking pictures  Wink )

Thanks for looking!  Cheesy Sorry my bandwith is used up. It will be re-instated on the 4th.
