1  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Knit Hats on: July 15, 2008 08:12:12 AM
I've been in the hat knitting mood lately and thought I would post some recent projects.  The pattern for the baby hats is from Susan B. Anderson's Itty-Bitty Hats.  The adult hat pattern is free here:  http://www.crazyauntpurl.com/archives/2006/04/brangelina_1.php

There are more details on all the hats at my blog:  http://knittingsimple.blogspot.com/

2  UNITED STATES / Texas / Quilting - Houstonians? on: April 23, 2008 03:05:20 PM
I began quilting recently and I'm interested in hiring someone to quilt my tops.  Is there anyone that knows a place in Houston?  Also - what is the price range?

Thanks!

5  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / First Quilts & First Post on: April 21, 2008 09:23:05 PM
I recently decided to start quilting.  I normally jump right into new hobbies and this was no different.  I read some info online, bought some supplies and got started.  I've since finished 2 small quilts for my nephews.  I'm pleased with the outcome but still have A LOT to learn.  Here are the 2 quilts I've finished:

The Mickey Mouse quilt was for my 3 year old nephew, Hudson.  The blue one was for my 9 week old nephew, Clayton.

There's more details on my blog:  http://donotfencemein.blogspot.com/2008/04/learning-to-quilt.html
