Mina - that's a fine group of pages you've got there!! Can you tell us more about that song? It sounds really interesting.
It's a cute song and short enough for children to memorize it.
I try to translate it and put the German words in brackets.
"A bird comes flying (Kommt ein Vogel geflogen)
and sits down on my foot ( und setzt sich nieder auf meinen Fu)
carring a letter in its beak, (hat einen Zettel im Schnabel)
a greeting from my mother  (von der Mutter einen Gru)
Dear bird fly farther, (Lieber Vogel fliege weiter)
take along a greeting and a kiss (nimm einen Gru mit und einen Kuss)
I can't accompany you (denn ich kann dich nicht begleiten)
I have to stay here.  (weil ich hier bleiben muss)"

It sounds a little weird in English, I found a small video on youtube that gives you a small idea how its supposed to sound (here

And I've never tried to listend to it backwards and look for hidden messages, but I should try this one day, might be interesting Wink

I'm so behind on commenting and posting the beautiful pages that I received. Life got a little bit crazy on me the last week(s).

Babbetto posted the page already, but I'll post it again anyway  (since I promised I'd do Wink)

Thank you, I love the bird and I like the American feeling of it, since we don't play any baseball around here. Well, sometimes, but it's very rare. But now I have my own ballgame, so score! Wink

The second page is from Reen Reen

Looking at the happy grinning man makes me happy, so thank you. It's a lovely page and the back is interesting and different - I love it.

And the last page I received is from Rackycoo

Those birds are lovely, the backside reminds me of an old children song about the bird that lands on the foot of a child carring a letter. I haven't thought of that song in a long time, so thank you for reminding me. I used to sing it as a child all the time (and driving my parents crazy with it Grin)

Thank you girls, my new pages are amazing!

Thank you guys.

They are supposed to be cranes, but they look a lot like swans too. And whatever they are - it's fun making them. Smiley

I'm happy that you like your page babbetto. I wasn't sure about putting the cranes on there, because the page turned out a little heavy, but I liked it more than scanning and printing them.

wow, wonderful pages everyone and the crow is just excellent and the cat is very cute Smiley

Here are two pages that I received. First is from colorfuldayz, so sorry it took me so long to post the pictures, it is so pretty.

On top it says "Beauty is no quality in things themselves. It exists merely in the mind which contemplates them." - David Hume
And the coin, it's a real rarity, it's one of the first pressing after WWII and since the euro they are hard to find. If you want it back let me know Wink

Thank you, it's a wonderful page.

The second page is from little green dragonfly, and what can I say. It's so unique and very cool.

the button faeries are very special and a great idea.

As said above, a very unique and different page.
Thank you too, I love this page!!!

OOHH!  Shocked I LOVE THOSE SNOWFLAKES!  and the city .  Did you make the flakes out of vellum?

thank you Smiley not sure what you mean by vellum, but i have a few sheets with printed forms on them and the snowflakes were on one of those. i just cut them out and put a little glitter on them. hope that makes sense.

I received two beautiful pages:

the first page is from heini. it's so nice and it's green. and the buttons are just cute Smiley
and the daydreaming kind of reminded me of myself so it fits perfectly.

the cool part is, you can flip the back side open and there is more to look at.

thank you heini, I really like it Smiley

And the second page took like forever to get here, I feared that it got lost in the mail but luckily it didn't - and now I have a gorgeous winterly page.

the front is covered with blue fabric and is all glittery and pretty. I really love it.

And the back looks like snow Smiley

Thank you both for the beautiful pages Smiley

and the lines of the heart are sooo crisp, how did you do them? i was so impressed!
I made a stencil for it (if you want to have it, I can sent it to you, don't think I'll use it again) and did the lines with ink.

And can I say, I sooo love this gallery. Everything is so pretty and we have some talented craftsters participation, it's amazing. I go from one amazing picture to the next and all so beautiful. Smiley
