This is awesome!!

I have that same Zelda t-shirt and it never looks right when I wear it the way it is.  I'll definitely be doing a recon with it now.

3  CLOTHING / Shoes: Completed Projects / Re: Candy Coated [updated-- I wore them somewhere!] on: April 30, 2011 10:29:32 PM
I finally made a pair too!!  Incidentally, I realized after I had finished them that the brand name on the shoes is "Delicious."  Couldn't be more perfect!

Can't wait for the enamel coating to dry so I can try them out!

5  HOME SWEET HOME / Exterior Decorating / Yard Art / Gardening: Discussion and Questions / Re: DIY outdoor cushions - help on: April 06, 2011 07:54:21 PM
I work at a Hancock fabrics so all I know is what we have there.  We carry a variety of outdoor fabrics that are soil/stain resistant as well as fade resistant.  They are usually in the range of $15.00/yd, but they are half off right now.  There are also a lot of mark downs right now for our spring cleaning sale, some as low as $2.00 a yd.  Just go to your nearest fabric store and ask what they have for outdoor fabric.  Any decent sales associate should be able to help you.
6  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / Re: Sharpening Pinking Shears? on: April 06, 2011 10:05:50 AM
Just get them professionally done. Our Hancock Fabrics does scissors for $4 and pinking shears for $6.

maybe you should add something 3 dimensional to make it more playful.  You could put a hair accessory in her hair, or maybe a string of beads as a necklace.  It would give it some more personality.

It's really really cute as is though.

haha, we JUST got some of this fabric in at my hancocks.  I immediately thought of using it for this jacket, and now I remember why!  I didn't realize it was the exact same fabric until just now.
