You'll need to start with some blue curtains...

What a great idea, he is awesome!

But... Is he missing the toes on his right foot? Maybe I'm forgetting something from the poem Cheesy

7  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Discussion and Questions / Re: How do I get non-blurry results on polyester lab coat? on: December 15, 2009 08:35:57 PM
It never dawned on me to do this, what a brilliant idea! I have a white OSHA lab coat for work (dental hygiene) I wonder if I could do something similar? I'll have to keep it in mind! I wish I had a suggestion to keep it from bleeding :-(

Does that help any? I know it is a bit rough in spots, but you can probably smooth those out while you are cutting it out... I'm not sure how detailed you can get.

Here is a tutorial that I LOVE http://www.melissaclifton.com/tutorial-stencila.html  It shows how to make the stencils with photoshop.

Also, what friggen awesome dogs! I had never heard of the breed before. They are beasts!

By the way, I think you should make the onesies big, like 6-9 months or 12 months. The blank onesies run small, and, to top it off, you get so many 0-3 month onesies at baby showers that they are wearing a new one every day.

Do you have photoshop?
10  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Discussion and Questions / Contact Paper Cutouts on a Laptop? on: December 15, 2009 07:58:23 PM
A few months ago I made a Team Fortress onesie for my son. My husband wants me to give the same treatment to his new laptop but he doesn't want me to actually put paint on it. *rolls eyes*

What would happen if I cut the design out of contact paper, stuck it on the laptop... and just stopped there? Would it peel off? Would it be sticky around the edges?

Here's the design I'll probably use:
http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/ChzopyI992q6VD52m7dZFQ?feat=directlink  (The Heavy from TF2!)

The laptop is super glossy black. How do you think Frosted Glass Contact Paper would look? http://www.interiorplace.com/Window-Film/Frosted-Glass-Window-Film.html Would it have a kind of subtle look, or just look stupid?

Any other ideas?
