21  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Discussion and Questions / Diamond Glaze/Bottlecap magnets question on: December 23, 2007 07:53:25 AM
So I just decided to try to make up a quick set of bottlecap magnets for a friend's stocking.  She's a big Moonlight fan (so am I) so I printed out some images, punched them and have them in their caps.

Questions:  I have some Diamond Glaze but it's a couple years old.  I did a test spot on an unpunched bit of one of the photos and the glue comes out milky.  Is that because it's old or is it supposed to and then dry clear?

Also, these are inkjet printings, is Diamond Glaze going to make everything all blurry and if so is there something better to use?  I'm also thinking of pressing the circles on an embossing pad and clear embossing them but i'm not sure they'll hold in place as well as the diamond glaze will.

I don't have the time to run out to the store for envirotex but I do have a number of options laying around here from years of papercrafting, including PPA and mod podge (both also oldish bottles so who knows what state they are in).

Thanks for any advice...
