1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Cute pink 3-strand necklace :-) -picture heavy- on: September 06, 2006 09:59:31 AM
So, I was thinking about making a long boho necklace... then that idea kind of failed once I saw my pink beads  Smiley
This is what came of it!

A close-up:

And... one more picture for fun:

2  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Simple, elegant, super shiny necklace on: August 31, 2006 06:13:38 PM
So... I had some metallic-y and glassy beads that were calling me... they wanted to be made into a neckalce.  So this is what came of it:
Unfortunately, you can't really see how much the light reflects off of the glass beads... it's very pretty in person.  I got a little bit picture-happy and took a few of the necklace by itself.  Enjoy  Smiley

Thanks for looking!!   Cheesy
3  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Believe Necklace on: August 31, 2006 06:09:26 PM
So, I found these sterling rings (small donuts, I guess you could say...) and I used one of them to make a necklace!  The necklace is pretty self-explanatory... I used two strands of beads and attatched the ring in the middle of the necklace.  Smiley
Here's a close up of the ring:

And a picture of it on:

Thanks for looking!
4  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Purple charmy-bracelet on: August 28, 2006 04:21:35 PM
So, I was playing around with some purple beads I had and this is what happened:

The bracelet isn't really my favorite... but I do like how it photographs  Smiley   (in this picture mainly!)

I got the idea to make a purple/dangly bracelet from pisicandru.... but now looking at their bracelet again... it looks nothing like it!  hmm... well something about pisicandru's bracelet stuck in my head- I guess the purple is what came out in mine!
I don't like how stiff the dangles came out- does anyone have suggestions on making charms/dangles for this type of bracelet?
Thanks for looking and reading!   Smiley
5  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Asymmetrical red, blue, and green necklace on: August 26, 2006 01:57:55 PM
So, I made a really simple asymmetrical necklace- I've been seeing a lot of asymmetrical jewelry recently so I thought I'd give it a try  Smiley  I bought some turquoise and red beads, and just used some beads I already had lying around to make this.  It was really simple and I like how it turned out!
Here is the necklace:

...And here are 2 pictures of it on:

I like how it looks good wherever the clasp is- I don't have to worry about it shifting!
Thanks for looking  Smiley
6  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Jeans+fabric markers+ french phrases = awesome pants! on: January 18, 2005 02:27:14 PM
So, I had this pair of jeans that I was really bored with.  First I wanted to make them into a skirt, but I didn't feel like sewing.  So, I looked up some funny french quotes online and wrote them all over my pants!  I also have some hearts and stars and stuff... Also, I drew a vine with flowers going around my right pant leg.  It looks pretty cool.  I have heard of some people using sharpie and having it fade after washing, but the fabric markers should hold up pretty well.  So here are some pics- I hope I did it right!

Here are the boring pants before...

And here they are after I drew on them!

I have some more pictures, but it was really hard to put these ones up and I am sure there must be an easier way to put up pics...
