1  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Baby Cable Socks on: January 10, 2008 03:28:49 PM
Nice! I really love this pattern, and have knit it several times. I knit socks on 2 circs, but recently tried the magic loop as well and I have to say that it was a lot easier than I thought it would be!

So cute! My boyfriend and I just watched this episode the other day (his first time), and I showed him this picture. His reaction: "That is SO cool!!!!" And it is. Good job!

7  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: First-ever sock! on: December 13, 2007 04:18:07 PM
Yay for your first sock! It took me FOREVER to get the hang of sock knitting, but it is very addictive and fun for those times when you need a fast instant gratification type of project. Hope to see more socks from you!

I really like that yarn! What is it?
8  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: kansas ice storm on: December 13, 2007 04:58:20 AM
We had an ice storm where I live (Indiana) a couple years back. I was finishing my master's degree and was living in campus housing. Luckily, because I was on campus, I had power a day longer than most people. However, the next day I awoke to find thta I was frozen into my apartment! As horrible as an ice storm is, it really does provide some beautiful scenery. (And I know what you're talking about with the crazed people at the stores - there was no water, bread, or peanut butter where I went!)

This is the greatest handmade coat I've ever seen in my entire life! I absolutely love it!!! Excellent work. It looks very professional. Grin

I love this pattern. I've seen so many pictures of it in different yarns. I'm working on one in Manos right now.

Your's looks fabulous! Love the colors.
