3  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / One more snoman... on: December 10, 2006 10:32:49 PM
...I think I'm addicted to making these!!  Shocked

This one, I made up, & attempted to make a regular snoman hat, but it ended up a beret..  So I kept up with the sorta french theme, & gave him a funny lil french mustache, & used darker based colors. I gave him flirty dark eyes too. His buttons or pom poms aren't as crocked as they lQQk in the pic...

I like them all too!  The scarf is wonderful.  But... if I had to pick my fav... it'd be the one in the lower left corner.. I really like that one.  I'm a total neon, bright, flashy color luv'r!!   Grin

Thank you every1!

Blocking ... here ya go!!  This explains it much better than I can.  Shocked

There are many different ways to block.
make sure you can use an iron on your piece. Certain materials may melt.
If you have a many  pieces to put together. Block them seperately before joining. (Much, much much easier)
Now. Get your iron, a towel, maybe two towels,  and your ironing board.
First, shape your piece.  Pull and tug as necessary.
Then, wet the towel and wring it out.  Place the very damp towel on the board and press with the hot iron.
Whoooa. The steam from the towel presses the piece.
You just blocked.
OR...
here is a link to some very easy to understand instructions to block almost anything crochet'd!!
