this is dope. the fact that you took a mental picture of something that people overlook day in and day out and crocheted it- in detail- is really beautiful. i'm in awe. really.

wow this is awesome! Vegetables make good inspiration!  Is it really over 5 feet tall? It doesn't look that big in the picture.. unless that chair is huge.. lol I'm 5 feet tall so I'm imagining myself sitting in that chair.  Smiley

the leaves on top are hanging over the other side of the chair. : )

I absolutely love this!  How long did it take you to make it?

well it was a very off and on project. more off than on really. so i stretched it out over a few months. but all in all probably about 25-30 hours.

That's so impressive!  I'm a little scared to know but... why the gigantic carrot?

Umm. I guess I thought it would be funny. hah. I'm vegan. I love me some vegetables.

I knit and felted the body of the carrot as well as the light green leafs on top. The darker green leaves are acrylic felt that i embroidered and the brownish leaf is cotton material. I attached the leaves on the body and used an old t-shirt to make the knobby top of the carrot as well as the roots. I finished off with a little embroidering on the body of the carrot and chocked it full of poly-fil. this is my very first venture into embroidery, stuffed  softy things and crafster. It stands over 5 feet tall. Hope you like it and I'd love some feedback!
