1  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Jim Henson Swap 3 Gallery! on: July 24, 2008 10:44:38 AM
I am alive!!
And feel terrible if I caused anyone to worry.

My poor swap was neglected for my move, and I feel so bad for bringing down the quality of this fine Jim Henson swap.

Luckily, I have a very kind and understanding swap partner who feels me on the difficulty of the life consuming process that is moving.

I got my box so long ago, *sob*, but haven't been able to ship hers until today, and haven't been able to post pictures because I was without internet.

But here everything is!

Here is everything all together, I was so excited to open all of the cute individually wrapped presents n____n

These have been so much fun, and such a great stress reliever XD

These are cute little notebooks!!! So wonderful.  She didn't use a pattern or anything -- just made them on her own!! I love them so much I can hardly stand it.  I am using the grover one right now as my shopping lists, and I can't tell you how much people love it and want to know where I go it.

POPCORN!! n_______n  In cute little wrappers.  Perfect for eating while watching Muppets related movies. (Though I did eat one for my snack during my 3 in the morning radio shift >.<)

I LOVE THIS PILLOW CASE.  I squealed with excitement when I saw it.  It's so wonderful.

This towel takes the cake though.  It is proudly on display at my new house, receiving many a compliment.

Thanks Linda!!!!!! You are amazing >.<

3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Hand painted shirts! Dinosaur, elephant, toadstool =] on: June 12, 2008 10:49:02 AM
Ah-mazing!!!! I'm in love with those shirts! X3
I like the way the paint looks on them, plus the shading- the designs are cute, too! They really pop against the fabric.

I'm inspired to do my own now, thanks for sharing!

Oh, and do you have any pictures of the jeans? I'm curious now.

Thanks so much!!
And yeah, I will totally get up pictures of the jeans!

Did you mix the Liquitex with a textile medium?

I think that might make the super-gentle wash and line-dry bit unnecessary, which is always good.

Very cute.

Thanks!! I am not too big a fan of textile mediums... I find it does odd things to the way the paint blends and adheres.  Also, I still feel that even with the use of the medium if I toss it in the drier the paint deteriorates quicker than I would like...

That is AWESOME! You're really good! So the paint stays on the shirts through washings?  Huh

Yep, totally stays on through washings.

Thanks for the kind comments everyone!!!

I love this so much.
I love cute little plushies crafted from felt.
What sort of thread do you use for these?  Embroidery? I've often wondered....

Anyways,  I love the design of your character.  I am very much into street and urban art, and designs based on such and yours has wonderful urban influence.
It's so cute I can hardly stand it.

Please make more.

This is so wonderful!!
I am completely in love with anything Sonic related... I was raised on that!

This is pretty much the raddest quilt I have ever seen and I admire anyone with quilting abilities.  I have just never had the patience to get very far in learning to quilt ... and this is completely amazing.

I would die for this!!!  Grin
