oh that was you asking this question on livejournal haha, funny i always look at your posts on here because you make cute things all of the time
but yeah i am not sure how big the different stitch sizes are on your machine, but i would use medium to large ones if it is at all thick , you might have to do some screwing around with your tensions too, maybe want to experiment on pieces of scrap if you can

8  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / hoodie dress, blue dress, purple thing on: January 28, 2008 04:08:56 PM
with this purple dress, i pretty much just took it in a little, cut a few inches off the bottom and used that to make a ruffle collared thing, but now its too short for a dress, oh shit. but i guess i can wear it with a skirt or jumper or something.

you can tell here its a little sloppy at the front. ill probably mess around with it some more later.

theres the back

theres it with a jumper ok.

and here is a blue dress i made from a huge mens shirt, its also pretty short but ok. also i realize that these pictures look annoying. hey look up my nose loook up my nose

aand here is a dress i made from a huge mens hoodie that someone left at school and i took it.

which is nice but when i take it off the static electricity is insane and hurts me. every time.

9  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / hows about fall on: January 28, 2008 03:49:05 PM
made it last fall
id wear it now if it werent so cold because im having an orange phase.
no pattern, just kind of a simple shape, its basically the same front and back except the huge overlap in the front. sleeves and bodice sort of flare out to the bottom which makes it look a little big but yeah. its got big cuffs and a big old hood. made the buttons from some scraps at the wood shop at school. its nice.

hope you like looking up my nose.

purse i made a couple months ago i think. getting pretty worn in by now but ehhhh
its pretty much just a fabric box with a hidden zipper that isnt very hidden, strap, fringe etc. i lined the front and back and put in little pockets for all the various crap i carry around cause ORGANIZATION IS KEY. i put cardboard rectangles in between the outside facing and the lining to keep the shape. but they can be taken out to wash or whatever. my mommy helped me pick out the matching fringe and whatever that gold stuff is on the strap. i like it.
